๐Ÿ”น Since 1 April 2026, Equine Infectious Disease Surveillance (EIDS) has received reports of 136 laboratory-confirmed equine influenza outbreaks across 57 UK counties.
โš ๏ธ Despite extensive horse movement and large gatherings over the summer, there has not been the anticipated surge in reported outbreaks, and the last reported outbreak was over a week ago.

๐Ÿ’‰ We recommend you check your horses' vaccination status and if a booster is due get it done as soon as possible. If your horse is not vaccinated for Flu (and Tetanus) we strongly recommend that you start the course.
