Thank you to my customers for moving and changing appointment dates and times this week. We really appreciate it ❤️

Just in case you were unaware of what we do during the hotter weather to ensure your dogs are safe. Please see below 😊

🐾 Open and close earlier.

🐾 Continually monitor the temperature in the salon.

🐾 Continually monitor the dogs during their visit.

🐾 Ask customers not to walk their dogs to the salon.

🐾 Turn dogs away if we feel they are unfit or showing signs of distress.

🐾 Dry cuts.

🐾 Leave coats slightly damp.

🐾Towel dry as much as possible

🐾Use small hand held dryers to prevent the salon heating up.

🐾 Cancel any high risk breeds, older dogs, pups and those with medical conditons.

We also have a new cooling system in the salon which we have received great feedback from.

I am still working my way through appointments for the end of this week and will be in touch shortly if I need to move or cancel your appointments.

Please stay safe, cool, and comfortable this week! Due to the extreme heat forecast, your dog's safety is my main priority.

To keep everyone safe, I am able to accommodate appointments before the heat peaks.

Rescheduling: I will offer alternative dates once the heat reduces.

I am reaching out to everyone booked for afternoon slots or Thursday appointments to rearrange. Thank you so much for your understanding and for helping me keep your dogs safe! 🐾

Good afternoon all,

I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday and the beautiful weather.

Please can I ask that you do not walk your dogs to the salon in this warm weather and also cool your cars as much as possible before driving your dogs here.

If the temperature in the salon becomes too hot, I will have to cancel appointments for the safety of your dogs.

Bark Lane - 5 years old today 🥳

5 whole years ago today I opened Bark Lane, my home based salon. When I moved into my bigger premises last Oct, I was so worried whether or not my business would continue to be a success. I can't thank everyone enough for following me and helping my business to grow even further.
