🐾NeoCare research featured on the international stage!
The NeoCare team is proud to announce the participation of Dr. Jullia Landi-Sato at the joint congress of the European Veterinary Society for Small Animal Reproduction (EVSSAR) and the International Symposium on Canine and Feline Reproduction (ISCFR), held in June 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
During the congress, Dr. Landi-Sato presented preliminary findings from an ongoing study conducted by our team, aiming to develop a method for the early estimation of colostrum intake in newborn puppies.
Early assessment of colostrum consumption is a major challenge in veterinary neonatology, as passive immune transfer is critical for neonatal survival and health. Preliminary results suggest a positive association between puppies’ weight gain during suckling sessions on the first day of life and improved acquisition of passive immunity. This approach could therefore help identify at-risk newborns early and guide appropriate supportive care when needed.
This research is currently ongoing, and we look forward to sharing the final outcomes with the scientific community, veterinarians, breeders, and pet owners in the near future.
We thank the EVSSAR–ISCFR 2026 organizers for providing an excellent platform for scientific exchange and for promoting advances in small animal reproduction and neonatology.
✨ At NeoCare, we are committed to transforming scientific research into practical solutions that improve the health and well-being of newborn animals.
