Good morning Ruffians. So I have been delayed in returning home. When I do get home and have rested completely after the wonderful travels I’ve had I’ll let you all know. What a fantastic museum! Walked in to the actual museum exhibition only to be told that it was closed, though the door was open a little bit 😂 I apologised but the guy said because I was Australian and I was here already then it was ok. It was a free museum too so they worked out ok. The planes and helicopter outside were in great condition and good to see so many!

After 4646km, I never got to see a Moose! Oh well….but the view has been fantastic. It is literally the best time of the year to visit Canada with the trees changing their leaves so quickly over a couple of weeks. The drive has been fantastic. I suppose after 4 goes of driving in the wrong side of the road, it came naturally to me. There are so many semi’s driving the main route. I think it is more than what Australia has. I think we use trains more where here they use the trucks. Diesel is just under $3/ltr like us. ULP is anywhere between 174.3-193.9 and that depends on the Province you’re in. The cheapest Province was Ontario with Nova Scotia being the most expensive. One thing they have here with the fuel is every Friday it changes. Not throughout the week but once a week and they all have to be the same price at the time. I’m back in Nova Scotia for a few more days then off to Vancouver before heading home bound. The last couple of days of travelling. Left Niagara Falls 🥹 beautiful place to see and headed off to Ottawa where I was jailed for the night 😂😂😂 by my own means. I stayed at a proper jailhouse which was actually very enlightening 😂 then off to Rivière-du-Loup where I wandered the streets and found the River and a couple little waterfalls. Absolutely beautiful!

I’ve made it to Niagara Falls. Have an amazingly awesome room to overlook the Falls. Went on the boat which I wasn’t really sure if I would or not but definitely recommend. Got pretty wet, but worth it. Then onto the Niagara Takes Flight which was even more spectacular and felt you were literally there especially after seeing the Falls from top and down on the water. It truly is magnificent. I did spend a day and night in Quebec on the way and it was very French which sort of makes you wonder where you really are in this world! I also spent 2 minutes in America 😂 on the boat that travels a little on the US side of the river 😂 so looking back it seems I’ve been to Canada, France and the US 😂😂😂

While I was in Quebec, there was a horse and carriage coming toward me, so I naturally took out the camera to take a pic and he must have realised it because he stopped and stared at me, almost posed so I took another picture and then the driver realised he had stopped and then urged him to keep trotting. Beautiful horse. He looked at me while he went by almost felt like he wanted a pat but I felt that I shouldn’t so I didn’t, but I did want to 🥰 it is so hard to stop taking pics and videos of this amazing place. Niagara Falls drops 750,000 gallons a second of water! How amazing! Definitely well worth the visit!

Update….I’m now in Edmundston which is about 8-8 1/2 hours drive from Kingston Nova Scotia. It started off I thought wonderful seeing the fall (Autumn) colours, but then became spectacular! It was so hard to not take photos!!! Then I drove into Edmundston and checked in. Off for a wander as I passed PKF which stands for Poulet Kentucky Fried. I didn’t ask so I could be wrong but chicken/poultry is poulet in French, but I thought I’d try out the chicken anyway. Nothing different, same as ours. In America they have biscuits with their meals. I was hoping but there were none 😂. I then saw on the other side of town a bridge and while I was walking across that, saw another bridge. So a short walk to see the other one too. It’s like a suspension bridge the one with the hut on the bridge, and of course there is a full moon which was beautiful to see coming out of the bit of cloud/fog tonight. Only a couple of dogs out for a walk tonight. A nice little town.

So it’s Tuesday afternoon here at 17:30. Today off to the Vancouver Aquarium. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see the giant octopus as ‘Strawberry’ decided she needed a break and went and hid. I did however manage to glimpse one of her legs and helped others to find her too 😁 it is well worth going to. The weather is not as cold as I thought it would be. Still warm ish during the day. The Canadians are so friendly and helpful! Just a pleasure to be in their company and country. Some parts are pretty messy but some other areas are pristine. Tonight off to Halifax in Nova Scotia for the next couple of weeks. I’m having a grand ol’ time 🫠 definitely seen a few dogs even an Irish Setter which I haven’t seen one of those for years! It was good to see one again. Beautiful colour!
