Literally my most favourite things to do and best place on this planet to be...
Anywhere enjoying a good lunch, a sunny walk and then wrapped in a blanket on the sofa at the end of it all watching TV with my fur babies. Pure Bliss 😊🥰🥰❤️💙

We received some awfully sad news here this week. Another one of our wonderful residents, the gorgeous Maisie has crossed over rainbow bridge 😢🌈

Maisie was always such a welcome addition to the household and an absolute joy to look after as she was so sweet, so well behaved and a lot of fun to have around.
She loved her walks and swimming and would jump right in whenever she found any water to do so! She was so happy and playful and loved making new friends.

I have sooooo many photos of her as you can imagine but here are my favourites from her very last stay with us earlier this year.
This stay in particular was so special in that she made friends with and formed a very strong bond with the lovely Nina which was a joy to witness.
These two were thick of thieves during their stay together and had so much fun. I'm smiling looking back and remembering these wonderful memories shared and captured.

To Maisie's family.... I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart is truly breaking for you. You are in my thoughts and I am sending all my love to you at this time ❤️

Farewell sweet girl.
You will join all the other angels who will welcome and look after you. And look out for my Honey as she's waiting for you and I know you two will get on well ❤️😇

A lovely long fun walk yesterday to make up for being rained off day before. We were all so happy to get out. 😊🥰🥰🐾🐾🐾🐾
Though, I think I might have needed a jumper on this one as it was a wee but chilly 🤦‍♀️

A reminder in 'Depression Awareness Month' to check in on those you love and care about. You're never too busy to check in on a loved one.
And if you are aware of someone struggling with mental health please don't ever make them feel like its not valid or lessen its severity with comments like "its not that bad" "everyone has problems" "but you have your health".
And when one good thing happens to them in their life, please don't say things like "oh well you must be better now", "everything is looking up".
One good thing does not undo years of trauma and magically make someone no longer depressed as it is never just that one thing that made or is making them feel so low.

Keep checking in. Be present. Be there. Just be. Without judgement.

We have welcomed little Cognac and Leo to stay with us for their holidays.
They know each other so well from previous day care together so it's really sweet to see them all together again.
