Complex, in-depth knowledge presented in a clear and accessible way. I highly recommend it to every horse person.
Applications are closing for this years final intake for the Diploma of Equitation Science (11363NAT).
Our nationally recognised qualification is designed for riders, trainers, handlers, and coaches who want to understand the “why” behind horse behaviour and training.
You will study equine learning, ethology, biomechanics, horse management, safety, in-hand and ridden training, problem behaviour, and rider instruction, all with horse welfare and clear communication at the centre.
The course is delivered online, allowing you to study from anywhere, while practical components can be completed through ESI workshops, video assessment, or with an ESI Nominated Coach.
Students may choose full-time, part-time, or semi-part-time study to suit your lifestyle.
Applicants should be able to ride confidently at walk, trot, and canter with an independent seat, have access to a horse for practical work, and complete riding plus language, literacy, and numeracy pre-assessments.
