Word from the glen is that Clover McPaws hasn't had a moment's rest. Between the ledger, the sorting, and the endless cups of tea, he's gone and put together a small pile of paperwork.

"Ahh, a leprechaun's work is never done," he sighs, shuffling three neatly stacked documents into a tidy pile.

🍀 THE LEDGER HAS SPOKEN...

Deep in the glen behind Orchard Hills, Clover McPaws has closed his ledger for good this time — and sorted every last name into one of two clans.

"Ahh, 'tis done," says Clover, dustin' off his little hands. "Every soul who entered the Shamrock Cup has been placed. Some are Leprechauns. Some... are Hooligans."

He won't say which is the lucky group. He just winks and disappears in a puff of shamrocks.

There is still time to enter....but it is running out quickly!!

🍀 'TIS SAID... (a tale from the glen behind Orchard Hills)

'Tis said that every year, when the Kinetic Dog Shamrock Cup draws near, a certain leprechaun by the name of Clover McPaws pulls out his ledger and gets to countin'.

Not gold, mind you. Names.

And this year, Clover's ledger has a great deal of empty space where names ought to be.

"Curious," says Clover, tappin' his little green pen against the page. "So many fine dogs 'round these parts. So few of them entered."

Now, old Irish wisdom says a leprechaun's ledger only stays open till the luck runs out — and this year, the luck runs out Thursday, August 6th at 5:00 PM.

After that? The ledger snaps shut. No amount of chasing rainbows will reopen it.

📡 INTERCEPTED STARLOG — Stardate 2026.174
Transmission origin: Sol System, Earth Orbit — Final Descent

🛸 TOUCHDOWN. WELL... ALMOST.
The pod broke atmosphere right on schedule. The landing, however, was not exactly as planned.

TORG: "Zorg. ZORG. Why are we descending over Nevada."
ZORG: "I may have... entered the wrong coordinates."
TORG: "We are over a desert, Zorg."
ZORG: "We are over a very specific desert, Torg."
A long pause. Then a sign came into view through the cockpit window. Faded. Weathered. Unmistakable.
TORG: "...is that—"
ZORG: "Area 51. Yes."
TORG: "Why."
ZORG: "I wanted to see it. Everyone talks about it. I thought, we're already in the neighborhood—"
TORG: "We are NOT in the neighborhood, the Space Race starts in days and you took a detour to a CONSPIRACY THEORY—"
Pirate barked. Maggy howled. Somewhere on the ground, a very confused desk guard radioed his supervisor about "unscheduled traffic."
ZORG: "...okay. Fine. Setting a course for High Octane now."

😰 A QUIETER MOMENT, SOMEWHERE OVER OHIO
The detour was fun. But the closer they got, the quieter the pod became.
TORG: "Zorg."
ZORG: "Yeah?"
TORG: "The tunnelers relay. Murphy's tunnelers relay."
ZORG: "I know."
TORG: "Pirate and Maggy have trained all year. But what if it's not enough? What if he put the rift somewhere we don't expect? What if we hesitate at the entry and lose half a second and that's the difference and—"
ZORG: "Torg."
TORG: "What if HE'S watching OUR run specifically because he heard about us from last year—"
ZORG: "Torg."
TORG: "...sorry. I just. Every handler who's run his courses say the same thing. You think you're ready. And then you're standing at the start line, and your mouth goes dry, and you realize — you have no idea what's waiting in there."
Silence in the pod. Even Pirate stopped wagging for a second.
ZORG: "...yeah. Same."

are currently migrating our entry method for trials directly secretaried by K9 Trial Services (High Octane Agility, select KineticDog and select Premier Sports Center trials) to the https://mydogentry.com (MDE) online system.

The MDE system allows you to create your entry online and then choose to pay with Credit Card, Zelle or to print/email a completed paper form and pay offline via the normal methods available per trial.

We have heard great things about the MDE system from both secretaries and exhibitors that currently use the system. As this is a new system for us, there are bound to be bumps in the process, so please be patient. If you have any questions or issues, please email Dan at the email listed in the premiums.
