A few photos of my latest dog portrait… and a very special one ❤️….

Many of you will recognise Charlie, my resident Mama Polar Bear 🐻‍❄️💕 I’ve been caring for her and she’s been coming to me for holidays for 6 years now and has welcomed so many of your dogs into the pack with her calm, gentle nature.

Her lovely owner recently celebrated a very big birthday and I was so honoured to be invited to what was quite honestly the most incredible evening I’ve ever been to… I may retire from parties now because I’m not sure anything will ever top that one! 🤩💃🥂

I wanted to give something personal. Something that hopefully in years to come will still be hanging on the wall and bring back memories of a very, very special girl.

Seeing their reaction and the happy tears involved made my heart very full 🥹❤️

Thank you Iris for entrusting in me as Charlie’s “second mum” all these years. What a privilege it’s been to care for the beautiful ‘furry octopus’ 🙏🥰

Not entirely sure how I managed it, but I somehow turned “being completely obsessed with dogs” (including playing ‘Superdogs’ everyday in the school playground aged 5 🤣) into a full-time career ❤️🐶🌟

From training dogs, painting dogs, ‘concierge-ing dogs’ for private clients, walking dogs and sitting dogs in clients’ and my own home, every part of my workday comes with fur attached! 👌🏻🤩 I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Meet Remy, a beautiful 4-month-old Vizsla and full-time land-shark! 🦈 😝✨

I feel honoured to be guiding him and his lovely owners on their training journey as they shape the foundations for a calm, confident and happy adult dog!

In our first session last week, we focused on two big puppy essentials:

🦈 Tackling those “land shark” biting moments
🚶‍♂️ Introducing the beginnings of recall and loose lead walking, so walks feel more like teamwork rather than tug-of-war!

Remy is bright and full of energy, which makes him a wonderful little student… even if his teeth sometimes think they’re in charge 😅

His owners now have clear, practical homework to continue building good habits between sessions, and I’m really looking forward to seeing their progress next week.

Puppy training isn’t about perfection. It’s about guidance, consistency, and learning to speak “dog” just a little better every day 🐶 💕

She just knows when a dog needs a bit of extra love… and she gives it so naturally.

I’m so lucky to have her by my side looking after all the visiting doggies 🐶 I love her like she was my own 🥹❤️

They make everything lighter, calmer, happier, saner — and I’d choose them every time.

I recently got back from a wonderful working trip to Carmarthen, Wales, and I’m still buzzing from all the fun and furry (and feathery!) adventures! 🐶⭐️ Despite the classic Welsh rain, I even caught some sunshine, which was a lovely surprise!

I had the pleasure of helping out the owner of the centre who I first met years ago when we trained Stella McCartney’s dog in London – such a full-circle moment! 🐾 It was amazing to work alongside other trainers and be surrounded by so many animals: chickens, geese, pigs, sheep, rabbits, peacocks, cats, a cheeky parrot named Sisqo, and the absolutely adorable baby goat Rambo – I just couldn’t get enough of him! 🐐💕

I also dipped my toes into gun dog training for the first time – so fascinating! My game bird impersonation received a fair bit of friendly teasing, but I had a blast! 😝

I could have easily taken one or two or ten of the dogs home with me! 😍 I can’t wait for my next adventures and to keep sharing the joy of dog training with amazing dogs and meeting incredible people along the way! ❤️🙏

Some friendships are simply meant to be 🐾 ❤️

These two fluffy ones have been holiday buddies in my care now for five whole years! 😍 Every time their owners go away and their holidays coincide, they arrive here like life-long pals…. tails wagging, noses touching, straight back into their familiar routine together 💕

Watching them grow up side by side, sharing naps, woodland strolls and cosy evenings next to me on the sofa, makes my heart sing 🥹 It’s never just dog sitting here, it’s building happy memories, lifelong friendships and a wonderful and loving ‘second-home’ for our beloved furry ones 🥰

So grateful to be part of their story 🐶✨

I’ve been experimenting with watercolours lately 🎨
I keep my work colourful and a little abstract because, for me, colour equals joy. And dogs are pure joy ❤️

The purples, blues and rainbow tones aren’t about realism, they’re about feeling. The fun, the energy, the love, the personality that dogs bring into our lives 🌈🐾

I absolutely loved painting beautiful Sky for my very good friend ❤️

Here’s a little moment of friendship to brighten your day 💕 :

Stella, our brave one-eyed sweetheart who’s had a tough start in life, has found a gentle guardian in Charlie the retriever. Even though they come from different households, Stella loves to cuddle up close to sweet Charlie and her fluffy coat, and it’s just heartwarming to watch them become buddies on their little holiday at mine together.

It’s amazing how dogs just know how to find comfort in each other! 🥹❤️
