🐾❤️ MEET GABI: ANOTHER LIFE THAT DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE
A few days ago, we rescued a Podenco who had been abandoned at a motorway service station by a hunter. 💔
We simply couldn’t drive past and leave her there. So, we stopped, got her to safety, and helped give her a chance at a new life.
For now, we’ve called her Gabi, a name chosen by the director of the rescue organisation currently looking after her, in honour of Gabriela, one of the directors of Ohmydog Pet Travel. ❤️
🐕 WHAT IS GABI LIKE?
Gabi is a lovely girl. She is still a little nervous and frightened after everything she has been through, but she is incredibly sweet with people, and she absolutely LOVES food! 🥰
She needs time, patience and someone who will show her that not all humans will let her down.
Thankfully, Gabi is now in the care of PINS (Podencos In NeedS), an amazing charity helping rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Podencos in Spain. They are taking care of her needs, preparing her documentation and helping her regain her confidence and trust in people.
🏡 COULD YOU GIVE GABI THE FOREVER HOME SHE DESERVES?
If you are a loving family interested in adopting Gabi, please send us a message. We will put you directly in touch with PINS so they can guide you through the adoption process.
And we want to do something special for her: if someone adopts Gabi through us, we will personally arrange her transport to her new home, wherever it may be, completely FREE OF CHARGE. ❤️🚐
❤️ A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO CORINNA
We would also like to give a huge thank you to Corinna, a German lady who runs her own animal rescue shelter here in Spain, dedicating her time, energy and love to taking in and rehabilitating abandoned animals.
Corinna works closely with PINS and has personally cared many animals, including Gabi. Her dedication gives these animals a safe place to recover, rebuild their trust in humans and prepare for a new life with a loving family.
Rescue work takes an enormous amount of patience, sacrifice and compassion, often behind the scenes and without recognition.
Thank you, Corinna, for everything you do for the animals who need you most. ❤️🐾
