About the class

That dogs have a hard time with meeting dogs, lunges and barks is a very common problem for many dogs and owners. If your dog have issues with this and you wish to help your dog on how to pass other dogs then this is a session is for you.

You will get the tools for creating positive experiences when meeting dogs.
On this session we focus relationship, leash, impulse control and passing dogs.

This class is from 7 month of age.
If you have a very aggressive dog or extremely afraid dog you must first book a private session before joining this session.

About the class

SCENT WORK/NOSE WORK

On Tuesdays we have trainings for all levels. This is a package of 5 Tuesdays at 19:30.

Nose Work is inspired by working search dogs, the idea was built to make a fun game/activity for all dogs.

This simple game allows the dog to play the leading role as the expert and do what it does best – namely using its nose.

You as a handler will learn to interpret your dog’s language, all small signals will become clues to how you will know where the hiding place is.
It is a great way to keep the dog mentally active and builds the dog’s self-confidence and the relationship between dog and human.
In this course we are letting the dog use its amazing nose in the hunt for its favorite toy or candy that is hidden in different environments and levels of difficulty (introduction of target scent we will only do once your dog is ready). This is because we want you and your dog to first gain more skills.

Some of the many benefits of Nose Work
· The dog receive mental stimulation
· You can play/search anywhere, no need to have a specific place or equipment.
· No previous experience or obedience required.
· Only one dog at a time searches, so even dogs that need extra space can join and play.
· Shy and fearful dogs build self-confidence and overactive dogs get rid of excess energy in the search.
· Builds stronger bonds between dog and handler. Handlers learn to observe and see their dog’s signals and gain a better understanding of their dog’s language.
· It’s fun for both handler and dog. In addition, it is easy to train in your own home.

About the class

Our life skills course is designed to be fun, interactive and engaging for dogs and guardians alike. All Green dog training classes are conducted in English. This dog training course focuses on those critical life skills required to live in our strange world and sets both ends of the leash up to succeed.

This 5 week course is designed for dogs aged 6 months+ and includes exercises to shape, understand, improve and proof:
Unique, imaginative group exercises to mirror real life situations
Focus to handler around other dogs
Leash manners
Impulse control
Stay & Settle
Terrace training
Emergency stop
Circuit training & confidence building
Trick training
Luring/capturing to improve your training skill set

As always, we welcome all breeds, all backgrounds and all levels! There is no maximum age – you can indeed ‘teach an old dog new tricks!’ *Please note: this course is for dogs that are comfortable in a group environment consisting of other dogs and humans. Should your dog be displaying aggressive or reactive behaviour towards dogs or humans, please view the options for our PRIVATE DOG TRAINING

Last up for today and before I’m going back to Barcelona tomorrow was Coco that is now starting to be a teenager with all that cotton in her ears she does not always feel like doing the same plan as her mommy think. All normal but now we have new tools for them to work on❤️

Bobby is starting training with me here in Stockholm and he does not trust visitors or people doing suspicious things. And to make sure they stay away he will nip them. I did not get nipped and I did my best to make sure he and his family have some better tools for starting to address this so the family can start having friends over again 🥰
