馃嚜馃嚫馃惗馃└Blanca lleg贸 a la cl铆nica en un estado cr铆tico, colapsado, areactiva. Tras realizar anal铆tica y pruebas de imagen se diagn贸stico que ten铆a una piometra perforada con peritonitis (con contenido purulento en el abdomen) . Primero tuvimos que estabilizarla con fluidos y medicaci贸n para poder afrontar una cirug铆a de casi 3 horas consistente en una ovariohisterectomia (castraci贸n) y profusos lavados abdominales. Esta intervenci贸n tiene un riesgo alto, lo cual necesita una hospitalizaci贸n y vigilancia postoperatoria.

馃嚞馃嚙馃惗馃└Blanca arrived at the clinic in a critical condition: she had gone into shock and was unresponsive. Following blood tests and imaging scans, she was diagnosed with a perforated pyometra with peritonitis (with purulent contents in the abdomen). First, we had to stabilise her with fluids and medication so that she could undergo a nearly three-hour operation consisting of an ovariohysterectomy (spaying) and extensive abdominal lavage. This procedure carries a high risk, requiring hospitalisation and post-operative monitoring.
