Durante octubre y noviembre, las jóvenes pardelas cenicientas abandonan sus nidos en Canarias. Un gesto tan sencillo como apagar las luces innecesarias puede evitar que se desorienten y caigan al suelo.

¿Sabías que los perezosos suelen tener una sola cría por parto? Desde que nace, se aferra al pelaje de su madre, que le proporciona alimento y protección durante sus primeros meses de vida.

Cinco meses de crecimiento que seguimos muy de cerca en Loro Parque.

Did you know that sloths usually give birth to just one baby at a time? From birth, the youngster clings to its mother’s fur, relying on her for nourishment and protection during its first months of life.

🇪🇸 ¡Hoy Adán cumple 16 años! 🎂🐋
El ojito derecho de nuestro equipo de cuidadores es ya todo un adolescente: curioso, activo y con una personalidad muy especial. Le encanta que le rasquen y mantiene un vínculo muy estrecho con quienes lo cuidan cada día, algo especialmente significativo porque nació aquí, en Loro Parque. 💙
Celebrar su cumpleaños también es celebrar todo lo que hemos podido aprender acompañándolo desde su nacimiento: observar de cerca cómo crece una orca, cómo evoluciona su comportamiento y cómo, poco a poco, encuentra su lugar dentro de un grupo social.
¡Feliz cumpleaños, Adán!

The apple of our keepers’ eye is now a true teenager: curious, active and full of personality. He loves being scratched and has a very close bond with the team that cares for him every day, something especially meaningful because he was born here at Loro Parque. 💙
Celebrating his birthday also means celebrating everything we have learned by accompanying him since birth: observing how an orca grows, how its behaviour develops and how, little by little, it finds its place within a social group.
Happy birthday, Adán! 🎉

🇩🇪 Heute wird Adán 16 Jahre alt! 🎂🐋
Der Liebling unseres Pflegerteams ist inzwischen ein echter Teenager: neugierig, aktiv und mit einer ganz besonderen Persönlichkeit. Er liebt es, gekrault zu werden, und hat eine sehr enge Bindung zu den Menschen, die sich täglich um ihn kümmern – etwas ganz Besonderes, denn Adán wurde hier im Loro Parque geboren. 💙
Seinen Geburtstag zu feiern bedeutet für uns auch, all das zu würdigen, was wir seit seiner Geburt lernen konnten: aus nächster Nähe zu beobachten, wie ein Orca heranwächst, wie sich sein Verhalten entwickelt und wie er nach und nach seinen Platz innerhalb einer sozialen Gruppe findet.

Estamos muy felices de anunciar que, por segunda vez este año, han nacido nuevas capibaras en Loro Parque. 🐾

Cada nacimiento es una gran alegría para todo el equipo y, sobre todo, un reflejo del bienestar de los animales y de los cuidados que reciben cada día.

Los pequeños ya comienzan a descubrir su entorno junto al resto del grupo. 🌿

We’re very happy to announce that, for the second time this year, new capybaras have been born at Loro Parque. 🐾

Every birth is a great joy for the entire team and, above all, a reflection of the animals’ well-being and the daily care they receive.

The little ones are already beginning to explore their surroundings alongside the rest of the group. 🌿
