Good dog training starts with Owners understanding how their dog thinks, why they behave in certain ways and what motivates them and the root cause of any issues. We are on hand to facilitate better communication between dog and owner so that you can handle any situations together and forge stronger bonds.

🚨 IF YOUR DOG THINKS THEY HAVE TO HANDLE EVERY THREAT

For Marble, neutrality starts with handler advocacy and leadership.

He doesn’t need to confront, avoid or worry about every dog — his handler can handle the situation

Clear guidance, protected space and calm exposure builds trust. 🧠

See the dog. Trust the handler. Keep moving.

That’s not suppressing reactivity — that’s changing how he sees the world. ❤️🐾

THIS is what we want from a reactive dog! 👀

Watch him notice the trigger and choose to engage and check in with his handler instead of reacting. 👀🐕

Previously, his response would have been to fixate, escalate and react.

Now we’re building a new response:
We’re not just trying to suppress the reaction. We’re teaching him what to do instead and reinforcing better decisions around his triggers.

This is what real progress looks like — a dog learning that they don’t have to react to everything around them. 🧠

Better choices. Better communication. More freedom. 💪🏼

🚨 ADVOCATE FOR YOUR REACTIVE DOGS 🚨

Another dog’s leash snapped and the dog was ready to charge Marble

I didn’t panic, run away or create conflict. I calmly created a safe distance, kept Marble engaged and helped him remain under threshold.

Marble didn’t react.
This matters because reactive behaviour can become reinforced when barking or lunging successfully creates distance from a trigger.

Instead of allowing Marble to feel like he had to handle the situation himself, I handled it for him with calm confidence.

We created distance without rehearsing the unwanted behaviour of reactivity, allowing Marble to experience a difficult situation while staying calm and responsive.

That’s how we start changing the learning history:
Advocating for your reactive dog isn’t about avoiding everything outside or hiding away.

It’s about showing them they don’t always need to react to make themselves feel safe. 🧠🐕
