🐾 Golden Paws October Adventures – Evening Update! 🚐🇫🇷➡️🇪🇸

Evening, folks! 👋🐶

We've had another productive day on the road, and we're back on Spanish soil! 🇪🇸💛

We stopped about an hour before the French-Spanish border to get the Woofers out for a walk, stretch their legs and have their dinner. Once everyone was happy and settled, it was time to head down towards Irun and cross the border into Spain. 🐾

We then stopped to fill up with fuel and grab something to eat ourselves before getting straight back on the road.

We're now heading towards Burgos, so we'll put a few more kilometres behind us this evening before finding somewhere to stop, get some well-earned sleep and recharge the batteries. 😴

It's been a long few days, but the Woofers have been absolute stars throughout the journey. Everyone is doing brilliantly, and we're looking forward to getting up early tomorrow and starting those drop-offs! 🏡🐕

🐾 Golden Paws October Adventures – Midday Madness! 🚐🐶🇫🇷

Well, this isn't your typical lunchtime stop! 😂

Two vans, eight dogs, a patch of woodland just south of Tours… what could possibly go wrong? 🤣🐾

As it turns out, not a lot! 💛

We met up with Paul from Paw2Door for our lunchtime pit stop, found a lovely spot in the woods and let the Woofers loose for some well-deserved exercise and a good run around.

Eight happy doggies, plenty of sniffing, running, playing and generally having the time of their lives. Honestly, you couldn't ask for a better lunchtime break! 🐕🌳

Once everyone had stretched their legs and enjoyed a bit of freedom, it was time to get them all settled back on board and hit the road again.

We're now heading south towards Bordeaux, with plans to find somewhere to stop just before the Spanish border later on.

The kilometres are ticking by, the Woofers are doing brilliantly, and the adventure continues! 🚐🇫🇷➡️🇪🇸

🐾 Golden Paws October Adventures – Day 2: Bonjour, France! 🇫🇷🚐

Morning, folks! 👋🐶

Welcome to France! 🇫🇷

After the delays getting out of the UK and across into France last night, we managed to make it about an hour south of Calais before deciding that was enough for one day. Time to park up, get some sleep and recharge the batteries! 😴☕

We were up bright and breezy around 7 am this morning, as Islay had decided it was time for her morning walk! 😂🐾

As we always say, one up, all up! So out came the rest of the Woofers for their morning walks, followed by breakfast all round before we got ourselves organised for another day on the road.

We also had a little surprise when we woke up to find Paul from Paw2Door parked up alongside us! They'd been caught up in all the shenanigans at Dover and Calais last night and had only just pulled in as we were waking up this morning. Needless to say, it's been a long night for them too!

They're heading south through France and Spain on the same route as us, so we'll probably team up for a few stops along the way. Always nice to have a bit of company on the road! 🚐🐾

Everyone's doing well, the Woofers are settled, and we're ready to get those kilometres behind us as we continue our journey south towards home. 🇫🇷➡️🇪🇸

🐾 Golden Paws October Adventures – UK Deliveries Complete! 🇬🇧🚐

Well, folks, that's another adventure in the books! 💛🐾

Yesterday we got the last of our Woofers safely home to their families, with plenty of happy reunions along the way. 🏡🐶 There's no better feeling than getting everyone home safe and sound after a long journey from southern Spain!

Now it's time for us to take a little well-earned rest and relaxation before we do it all over again. ☕😴

But we won't be putting our feet up for too long!

🚐 Monday: We'll kick off collections with Charlie down in Exeter before heading on a long journey north towards Harrogate.

🐾 Tuesday: We'll start our collections in the Harrogate area before working our way back down towards London and Dover, ready for our return journey across to France and then back home to Spain. 🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷➡️🇪🇸

So, a little downtime for now, then it's back to business as usual and another set of Golden Paws adventures begins!

🐾 Golden Paws October Adventures – Day 3 Morning Update! 🚐🇬🇧

Morning, folks! ☕🐶

Well, we finally made it into Dover last night, a little later than planned, after a couple of extra delays along the way. First, the crossing ran late, and then we hit more delays at the Dartford Tunnel while they dealt with the movement of dangerous goods, bringing traffic to a standstill.

But the good news is we're back on track and all today's drop-off times are looking good! 🙌🐾

We've got a busy day ahead as we make our way around the UK, getting our Woofers safely home to their families.

🏡 Today's delivery route: 🐶 Teddy – Littlehampton 🐶 Buddy – Farnborough 🐶 Mia & Nancy – Stow-on-the-Wold 🐶 Daisy – Leamington Spa

As soon as we've completed each delivery, we'll give the next family a call with an accurate ETA, so everyone knows exactly when to expect us. ❤️

It's been a long journey from southern Spain, but we're on the home stretch now, and there's nothing better than seeing those happy reunions at the end of an adventure! 🐾💛

🐾 Golden Paws October Adventures – Afternoon Update! 🚐🇫🇷

Afternoon, folks! 👋🐶

Our lunchtime pit stop today has brought us to Le Mans, where it's time to get the Woofers out for a good walk, stretch those legs and take care of business before we hit the road again. 🌳🐾

We've been pretty lucky with the weather so far! A few spots of rain here and there, but nothing too bad, so we really can't complain. ☀️🌦️

Everyone's doing brilliantly, and after a little fresh air and a chance to explore, we'll be getting everyone settled back on board and heading north towards Calais.

We've got around four hours of driving ahead of us, so we're still looking at arriving around 6 pm. That gives us plenty of time to get checked in, get organised and prepare for this evening's ferry crossing to the UK. 🇫🇷➡️🇬🇧

One step closer to home and another adventure nearly under our belts! ❤️🐕
