🏁 Golden Paws – Final Update 🚐🐾

And that’s our May adventures officially complete 🙌💛

We made it down into Málaga just after 5:00pm 🌴☀️ with our first stop in Mijas for Howard 🐶🏡, followed by Bentley, Wilfie, Max, and finally Freddie 🐕🐾

Everybody home safe and sound ✔️ another fantastic trip completed with lots of happy reunions and wagging tails 💛🐶

We’re now back home ourselves 🚐💨 and it’s finally time for a bit of rest and relaxation 😴☕

Thank you again to everyone for trusting us with your babies 🐾

We’ll catch up with you all again next month for the next adventure 👀✨

☀️ Golden Paws – Lunchtime Update 🚐🐾

We’ve made our way south past Madrid 🛣️🇪🇸 and down past Jaén 📍 before stopping off in the national park 🌿🌳 for a lunchtime walk

Woofers out stretching their legs 🐕🐾, everyone enjoying a bit of fresh air before the final push down to the coast ☀️🚐💨

We’ve got around two hours left from here 🙌 so updated drop-off times are now looking like this:

🐶 Howard – 5:00pm
🐶 Bentley – 5:30pm
🐶 Wilfie – 6:00pm
🐶 Max – 6:30pm
🐶 Freddie – 7:00pm

Not long now… happy homecoming time 💛🏡🐾

🌅 Golden Paws – Morning Update 🚐🐾

After yesterday’s delays through France 🇫🇷🚧, we finally crossed the border into Spain at around 10:30pm last night 🇪🇸

From there, we pushed on down as far as Burgos 🛣️ before stopping for some rest 😴

Unfortunately, the delays have left us around 2–3 hours behind where we originally expected to be ⏰ which will have a knock-on effect on today’s drop-off times 🐶🏡

At the moment, we’d estimate the first drop-off will likely be somewhere around 4:30–5:00pm this evening 🚐💨

We’ll keep you all updated as the day goes on and should have a much clearer picture after our lunchtime stop 🐕🐾

We’ll also be contacting everyone individually with updated arrival times 📲

🌙 Golden Paws – Evening Update 🚐🐾

After a really good start to the day 🙌 things became a little more challenging this afternoon 😅

The Bordeaux ring road was hit with five separate accidents 🚧🚗 which meant it took us nearly two hours just to get through the traffic

So, where we’d hoped to be across the border by 7:00pm ⏰, it’s now looking more like around 10:00pm before we get into Spain 🇪🇸🚐💨

We’ve just stopped off now to get all the doggies out for a good walk 🐕🐾, dinners served all round 🍽️, and everyone settled and happy 👍

At the end of the day, these things happen — the important thing is everyone stays safe 💛🐶

We’re now back on the road heading down towards the border and we’ll catch up with you all again a little later on 👀✨

☀️ Golden Paws – Lunchtime Update 🚐🐾

We’ve made good progress today 🙌 — down past Le Mans 🛣️, through Tours 📍, and we’re now just beyond Poitiers 🇫🇷

Time for a lunchtime stop 🛑 with all the woofers out stretching their legs 🐕🐾 while we grab a bit of lunch ourselves 🥪☕

Everyone’s travelling beautifully 💛 calm, relaxed, and enjoying the adventure 👍

Next stop… Bordeaux 🍇🚐 and then on towards the Spanish border 🇪🇸

We’re expecting to cross over around 7:00pm this evening ⏰ so we’ll catch up with you all again a little later on 👀✨

🌅 Golden Paws – Morning Update 🚐🐾

A nice easy crossing last night from Dover to Calais ⛴️🇬🇧🇫🇷 before we made our way down towards Rouen for our overnight stop 😴

Up early again this morning 🌞 and all the woofers have been out enjoying the sunshine 🐕🐾

A much steadier day today 🚐💨 as we make our way down towards the Spanish border 🇪🇸 — nice relaxed plod southbound 👍

We’re currently heading down towards Le Mans 🛣️ with everyone settled, happy, and travelling beautifully 💛🐶

We’ll catch up with you all again around lunchtime 👀✨

🌙 Golden Paws – Evening Update 🚐🐾

Busy, busy day today 🙌

We started off up in Lytham St Anne’s 🌿 with Freddie and Howard already onboard 🐶🐶 before heading down to Manchester 📍 to collect Max 🐕

From there it was across to Nottingham for Bentley 🐾, followed by the battle south down the M1 🚐💨 and through London traffic 😅 to pick up Wilfie 🐶

After that, we headed down to Ashford to see the team at EasyPet 📋🐾 and collect all of the animal health certificates ✔️

And now… we’re down at the Port of Dover ⛴️🇬🇧

All paperwork completed ✅
All checks done ✅
Everyone checked in ✅
Ferry on time ✅

We’re now getting ready to board and make our way across to France 🇫🇷🐶

All doggies settled beautifully and travelling brilliantly 💛

We’ll catch up with you all again once we’ve arrived on the other side 👀✨

🌅 Golden Paws – Update 🚐🐾

Busy day yesterday 🙌 starting with the run from London down to Exeter 🛣️, across to Bristol 📍, and then finishing up in the beautiful Lake District 🌿🏞️ to get Haystacks and Kielder safely home 🐶🏡

After that, it was time for some well-earned rest at Ravenstone Manor 🏨🐾 — a lovely old-worldy, pet-friendly hotel and the perfect stop for the night 😌✨

Up bright and breezy this morning ☀️ — van cleaned, everything organised and ready for the next leg 👍

We then headed over to Penrith 📍 to pick up Freddie 🐶 before making our way down to Lytham St Anne’s to meet up with Jane, Paul, and Howard, who’ll be joining us tomorrow morning 🙌🐾

A lovely relaxed afternoon in the garden 🌿 with the dogs running around enjoying themselves 🐕💨

Freddie is now absolutely shattered 😴🐶 and slepping like a baby 💛
