🩷 MABEL 🩷

Beautiful Mastin mix baby Mabel, around 4 months old, was found alone wandering into a garden.

She was posted on lost and found and vet checked for a chip…no chip and nobody came forward for her 🥺

One of the team amazingly picked her up and took her straight into foster until we find her forever home 🙏🏽🥰

The fosters feedback:

“Very good and easy with other dogs and with people. Really nothing bad in her, pure innocence and so sweet. She likes to play with Pandora butttt also loooooves sleeping haha 😂
She has funny things like grabbing a toilet roll and climbing up your lap but she’s actually pretty calm!…a lot calmer than Pandora when she was that age so I think that is the difference in the breed.

She does not bark and she starts listening already a bit. Do have to say, her character I think also because of where she comes from, she is quite scared…so she does need a lot of love, patience, reassurance and guidance, not a hard or strong approach.

We noticed that she has been living in a lot of fear and stress and she is coming more and more out of this fortunately, but that will take some more time until she is there fully, but I see her grow everyday! Getting so happy and cheerful, loves running and is affectionate and loves cuddles”.

She is such a beauty and would definitely benefit from having a second dog in her forever home to help build her confidence, to play with and so she isn’t on her own 🙏🏽

💙 WHISKY 💙

Beautiful Labrador boy Whisky is 5 1/2 years old and looking for a new family 🥺

The owner recently underwent hip surgery and is no longer able to walk him as much as he needs. ( We are also looking into other option but posting just in case also).

He is a beautiful, strong, playful, affectionate, and loyal dog…and, like any good Labrador, a big chowhound 😆

He has his passport and is fully up to date on vaccinations, and he has never needed to see a vet except for routine check-ups 🙏🏽

Whisky loves playing with other dogs 🥰, but at home, he is calm and loves to sleep.

One thing he loves doing when we wake up is saying “good morning” by playing and giving us hundreds of little kisses 😩😍

He goes to the dog park every day—where he’s the boss 😄—and loves spending hours playing with his friends and his toys (especially balls).

The owners are heart broken but want Whisky to continue being a happy and playful dog, so we are looking for a family that will love, care for him and give him everything he needs and deserves.

He is a great dog and we are certain Whisky will repay that love with thousands of licks.

💙WILI 💙

This is beautiful Will, who is thought to be between 2-4 years old.

He is the dad to the mix collie babies, but the mama and babies have now gone into foster to also find homes, so he is now alone 🥺

He is also collie mix.

He lives with two stray cats on the land, so he’s good with cats and also other dogs (from what we have seen but we can also test if needed).

They have been with their mama but she is very skinny and needs to recover now.

💛 URGENT FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR LEON & MAYA 💛

Leon & Maya need an urgent foster/ forever home to get them out of the shelter.

Leon has an Infection and inflammation in his toe and a chronic skin problem on the areas that are in direct contact with the shelters hard cement/ wet floor, and he’s not going to heal if he carries on laying on them 🥺

He needs comfortable, well padded bedding/ flooring where he sits & lays. Grass is also fine 🙏🏽

They were brought together to the shelter. Both of the dogs were heavily sedated, under drugs, apparently calming pills that the people had obtained from a veterinary. The dogs had to be wheeled in with carts, that’s how heavily under influence they were.

We also don’t have any information re their back story, only that apparently Maya & Leon were left at their neighbor’s property 🥺

They are both huge fluffy polar bears, who love to be around humans, but at the same time are also independent enough to stay alone, or mind their own business in the dog parks, without needing constant companionship.

Maya is sweet and cheerful, and she likes to come to you for cuddles every now and then during your time outside with her 🥰
Regardless of her size, she walks very nicely and calmly on the leash, and her presence is pleasant, not overwhelming, as sometimes is associated with this size of dogs.

Leon is also a beautiful soul and loves humans too, he’s the leader in the duo. However, he’s very quiet and down at the moment 😔

Maya and Leon are very similar in their appearance, so we believe they are related. They care a lot for each other, groom each other and play together, though even their play is quite low energy and calm.

They are both totally fine to spend hours alone, just watching the yard, snoozing on the grass etc. They’re in kennels 23.5 hours per day 😢

Can you help foster them to get them out of kennels?…or are even interested in adopting them?
