This is BALOU, a 2-year-old male Podenco mix. He was born in March 2024 and weighs approximately 15 kg. He is very sweet and still a bit shy. He accepts and tolerates cats. He is a dog who has NOT been trained for hunting and therefore does not attack dogs, cats, or other animals. Aggression is foreign to him. He is an absolute family dog ​​who deserves a loving family if possible with another dog.
He had to spend many months in the shelter with his siblings and was always overlooked by visitors. This made him a rather sad dog. For the past few weeks, he has been in our foster home, where he is blossoming, becoming more confident, and beginning to enjoy life. This is also shown in the attached videos.
BALOU has his EU passport, is fully microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and can show negative blood tests for Mediterranean diseases, so he is absolutely healty.

Das ist BALOU, ein 2 jähriger Podenco Mix Rüde. Er ist im März 2024 geboren und wiegt ca. 14 kg., ist sehr lieb und eher zurückhaltend. Er akzeptiert und toleriert Katzen. Er ist ein Hund, der NICHT für die Jagd ausgebildet wurde und geht daher nicht auf Hunde, Katzen oder andere Tiere los. Aggressionen sind ihm fremd. Er ist ein absoluter Familienhund, der eine liebevolle Familie verdient.
Er hat viele Monate mit seinen Geschwistern im Tierheim verbringen müssen und wurde von Besuchern immer übersehen. Das hat ihn zu einem eher traurigen Hund gemacht. Seit einigen Wochen ist er bei uns auf Pflegestelle und dort lebt er auf, wird selbstsicherer und beginnt sein Leben zu genießen. Das zeigen auch die anliegenden Videos.
BALOU hat seinen EU-Pass, ist komplett gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, kastriert und kann einen negativen Bluttest auf die bekannten Mittelmeerkrankheiten vorweisen, ist alles absolut gesund.

As previously announced, we will be winding down our market activities at the end of the year and clearing out our storage space. Today, Alessandra has already begun donating a number of highly marketable items to LAST CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE so that dogs can continue to benefit from the proceeds—which is our sole wish. Naturally, we will sell many of these items through other channels to benefit our DOMINO dogs, but whenever there are more items ready for collection, we will contact LAST CHANCE again.

This young dog has spent several months in a foster home... We had to go pick her up ourselves yesterday because the family hadn't socialized her; she has come back very scared and hardly wants to be touched 😞
