Our beautiful big pup Peter is on the next flight to Sweden at the end of the month.
Everyone loves Peter❤️ It’s hard to believe that he was less than 2kg when he came to live at sos back in January.

Uno, Harley, Dilan and Wilma’s big day❤️

Uno, Dilan, Wilma and puppy Harley are on their way to Sweden❤️
They were all so good in the airport even though for the three of them it was a lot to take in. Bod Dilan (who has more than enough confidence for all four of them) just thought every passenger anywhere near might like a hug😁 Big girl Wilma who has been in a shelter her whole life, and pup Harley who has been with us from four weeks old - for those two it’s a very big day full of so many new things.
Uno was so good just calmly and quietly looking around.
Massive thanks to Ebba who came over to collect her new family member Uno.
Thanks also to volunteer Andrea who was heading home to Sweden on a different flight but came in very handy helping us out this morning.

Uno is on countdown as it’s finally his turn for the early knock on his kennel door this Tuesday.
We’re so pleased for him. His new mum travelled from Sweden yesterday to collect him and she’s kindly escorting three of his friends to Sweden.
Busy couple of days ahead 😁

King❤️
Well it’s still incredibly hot and a couple of days ago King got himself a large splinter in his paw between his toes.
Yesterday we tried very hard to remove it but King wasn’t having any of it.
This morning he went to the vet and with full sedation it’s out. It was bigger than we thought. Quick thinking volunteer Eva realised it was a great opportunity to clip his nails whilst he was asleep so that was a bonus.
King lives in the volunteer house and he’s a popular guy with the volunteers but sadly he’s a great example of what dogs who have a very rough start in life can be like.
Fortunately he’s totally fine wearing a hood and the antibiotics will have his paw back to normal in no time.

Coco and little William are on their way to Stockholm ❤️

This morning it was the turn of little William and big guy Coco to get the 3am wake up call and set off on their journey to a new life in Sweden.
William wasn’t so sure about what was going on but for Coco, who has been a shelter dog since he was few weeks old, the huge busy departure area in the airport was a lot to take in but they were both very good boys. Cocos eyes were like saucers.

Big thank you to Emma who has been volunteering with us these last couple of weeks. She’s put special time in bonding with Coco so he’ll feel less scared once he gets out of that sky kennel in Arlanda and sees a familiar face.

Samson and Teija our two oldest residents that have been with us many years think July is just too hot!
Neither standing in the paddling pool under a parasol nor laying under the trees in the shade are helping much.
It’s high 30’s and it’s going to get hotter they say 😬
