Potty training your new puppy can be quite a challenging task for any dog owner!

It takes time and consistency to form a reliable habit of doing their business outside and for a puppy to develop bladder control.

If you 👇🏼
☑️Manage your puppies environment by setting up puppy zones using a crate, puppy pen or restricted area!
☑️ Proactively take your puppy to a designated potty area every after play, water, food and crate.
☑️ Reward heavily when achieved and make a big fuss!

Follow the 5 steps above in order to set your puppy up for success in the home!
Remember - Consistency & patience is the key 🔑

❌ Do not - Punish or scold your new dog for having an accident in the house!

What is anxiety in dogs?

Just like us, our dogs can suffer from anxiety too!👎🏼
Anxiety often manifests itself in undesirable behaviours, such as urinating and defecating in the house, destroying furniture and furnishings, barking or aggression!

The most common causes of anxiety in dogs are:
- Fear related anxiety
- Separation anxiety

Symptoms of dog anxiety may include:
- Trembling or shaking
- Panting or drooling
- Tail tucked between legs
There are many things we can watch out for anxiety in our dogs.

To help our dogs feel more comfortable in these situations you can work on decentralisation or trying to remove these triggers from your dogs daily routine!
Decentralisation is helping your dog get used to its triggers in small doses and creating positive experiences.
