Calling all walkers in the KENT region.

At the moment I'm not 100% on where exactly but ...
2 of my wonderful clients are moving back to the UK from Spain at the end of the year and will be looking for a reliable dog walker for their boys.

I want to help ensure that the boys get the best possible care as I've known them since they were young.

Alfie and Jack need confident sympathetic handling, as they can be wary of strange people and dogs. Once they trust you they are amazing.

When it gets too hot to run about in the countryside we do brain training instead ...
So many different activities for the dogs to snuffle, lick, nudge, paw, move and figure out how to get the goodies

If anyone who loves dogs can spare anything towards the care that Nick provides for these wonderful dogs please do.
It's my birthday coming up and I'm hoping to raise €200 to help out.

Nick runs PodFather Podenco rescue from his own home in Almeria Spain and sees first hand the unbelievable cruelty and suffering that these invisible dogs go through.

Podencos are predominantly used as hunting tools here in Spain and are currently not covered by animal welfare law but listed as property and therefore when their useful life's are over so are they.

Nick works so hard to give these dogs a second chance at love.
I was honoured to spend a few days with him earlier in the year and it is heartbreaking to see them when they first arrive but OMG the transformation with days of getting love and food from Nick is unbelievable.

I've talked before about the fact at this time of year here in Andalusia we have to be very careful of these pine processionary catapillers....
Well this is why!!!

Luckily this beautiful boy got to a vet very quickly after picking up a stick that they had travelled across (not even an actual caterpillar!!), and ONLY lost part of his tongue and not his life.
His poor mum has red blistered hand too.

Ok folks what is the craziest thing you've seen on your walks .....

We often see wildlife here in Andalusia including Egyptian mongoose, Wild Boar, deer, and very commonly cows with BIG horns but today was amazing.

I often see the vultures circling but there were loads today

So today I present to you ' a Wake of (young) Vultures
