kloe y sus pequeños pasos
Hoy estuve con Chloe y descubrimos algo muy especial.
A Chloe le cuesta un poquito caminar conmigo. Al principio pensé que podía ser por el calor, pero ahora que está más fresquito, sigue pasando.
Así que probé otra cosa: cuando se para, me agacho a su altura y la espero.
Y funciona. Ella viene hacia mí, caminamos un poquito… se vuelve a parar, me agacho, viene otra vez y seguimos.
Sin prisas, sin tirar y respetando su ritmo.
Chloe es una perrita muy, muy cariñosa, y poco a poco vamos encontrando nuestra manera de caminar juntas.
Y lo más gracioso es que, después de toda esta historia de “no quiero caminar” , llegamos a casa… ¡y Chloe quiso volver a salir a dar otra vuelta!
A veces no se trata de hacer que un perro camine, sino de entenderlo, tener paciencia y encontrar la manera de acompañarlo.

Kloe and her little steps
Today I spent some time with Chloe, and we discovered something really special.
Chloe finds it a little difficult to walk with me. At first, I thought it might be because of the heat, but now that the weather is cooler, she still does it.
So I tried something different: whenever she stops, I crouch down to her level and wait for her.
And it works! She comes towards me, we walk a little… she stops again, I crouch down, she comes back to me, and we continue.
No rushing, no pulling — just respecting her pace.
Chloe is a very, very affectionate girl, and little by little, we're finding our own way of walking together.
And the funniest part? After all that “I don't want to walk” business , we got home… and Chloe actually wanted to go out for another walk!
Sometimes it's not about making a dog walk. It's about understanding them, being patient, and finding the right way to accompany them.
