Good evening, Big Red family. Suella here ❤️

Just thought I’d show you these lovely pictures of the wonderful Bella! 🐾

Some of you will remember the two elderly Bichon Frise types we took in — little fluffy white numbers, as I call them! The female was the older of the two, and she arrived pregnant, bless her.

She had two beautiful puppies, delivered by caesarean section. The vet who delivered them adopted one for his own family, and the other went home with the lovely Claire. And here she is… Bella! ❤️

It’s the first time I’ve seen her in a very long time, and oh my goodness, she was pleased to see me! Although, before I start awarding myself brownie points for helping bring her into the world, I think she’s just pleased to see absolutely everybody! 😂

Still, I got plenty of kisses and cuddles, so I’m taking that. And it was lovely to give her mama Claire a big hug too — I haven’t seen her for ages either.

Our beautiful Bella: one million per cent adopted and adored. Just how it should be. ❤️🐾

Good afternoon, Big Red family, Suella here. ❤️🐾

A massive thank you to the lovely Drew Rody's and to the lovely couple from her friends and followers who took a couple of hours out of their holiday to visit Big Reds today.

They brought donations for the dogs—thank you very, very much—and discovered we have quite a few cats here too! 🐈❤️

They spent time out in the field with all the dogs, walking around, handing out treats and giving everyone plenty of fuss. Melissa said they were a lovely couple and it was such a lovely afternoon. Happy dogs, lots of attention… that’s all we ask for! 🐶🥰

Thank you, Drew, for encouraging your people to get to know other rescues here in Spain. We really appreciate that support.

And thank you, guys, for spending part of your holiday with our animals. We hope to see you again! ❤️

Good morning, Big Red family! Dolly Do here. 🐾

Today I’m showing off some of our beautiful feathered residents and how we keep them entertained. Here they are getting stuck into a cabbage! 🥬🐔🦆

We’re always grateful for chunky vegetables such as cabbages, pumpkins and butternut squash—things Mark Taylor can make a hole in and hang up for them to peck at. A dangling vegetable keeps them busy, gets them moving and gives those little bird brains something to work on! 😂

Personally, I prefer my dinner served in a bowl without an obstacle course, but each to their own.

People sometimes forget about the birds, but ours are all rescues too, and they deserve their share of spoiling. ❤️

So if you grow vegetables, visit the markets or are passing with a cabbage to spare, please think of our feathered lot. They’d really appreciate a treat—and we can share more videos of them enjoying it!
