Todo Ayuda Project

Todo Ayuda Project A registered NPO, which aims to support and aid smaller, local animal welfare initiatives When were you set up? What do you do? Why do you do it?

Todo Ayuda Project is a Not for Profit Organisation (NPO), that aims to support and work with smaller local animal rescues and community based initiatives by running regular fundraising events on their behalf. We are completely independent of all animal charities and are not directly associated with any animal association, charities or rescues in Axarquia, the Costa Del sol or Andalucia. Todo Ayud

a Project (TAP) is run by a group of volunteers, who receive no remuneration, and is run and governed by the relevant Andalucian legislation, protocols and agreements

Who are you? Todo Ayuda Project has been set up by four friends who are all animal lovers, have rescues of their own, support and work with local animal rescue organisations or initiatives and who have a demonstrated track record with volunteer charity work. The founders are Maurice Jonker, Paul Bailey, Paul Tilly and Sue Bailey who are supported by a small committee and a group of volunteers. Todo Ayuda Project is a Not for Profit Organisation (NPO) which was registered in November 2022 and became operational in March 2023. Todo Ayuda Project (TAP) aims to support and work with smaller local animal rescues and community based initiatives by running regular fundraising events on their behalf. How often do you see heart breaking appeals on social media for animal rescues trying to save ill-treated, abandoned or neglected animals? How often do you donate? Or just wish you could do more? What we know is that every animal rescue is short of funds, and this often limits what they are able to do. To allow rescues to focus on what they do best – rescue, treat, foster and rehome unwanted or abandoned animals – we will support them with fundraising activities and campaigns.

TASTE OF CÓMPETA IS CALLING ALL COOKS! 🌍

Taste of Cómpeta is about far more than food.

It’s about a community coming together. It’s about celebrating the extraordinary mix of cultures, nationalities and traditions found among the people who call Cómpeta home. Every dish tells a story, whether it comes from your homeland, your family kitchen or simply something you love to cook and share.

And, most importantly, it’s about using that wonderful community spirit to do something genuinely good.

Everyone involved gives their time freely, and the event is held for the benefit of two registered charities. The cooks, helpers and volunteers all come together for one purpose: to create a fantastic day while raising as much money as possible for two very worthwhile causes.

So, we’re calling on both new cooks and our brilliant cooks from previous years to take part.

You don’t need to be a professional chef. You simply need a dish you’re proud of, a willingness to join in and enough community spirit to share a little of yourself with Cómpeta.

You’re very welcome to donate the cost of your ingredients as part of your contribution. However, we don’t want cost to prevent anyone from participating, so ingredient expenses can be covered up to a maximum of €50 per cook.

This is your chance to represent your country, celebrate your culture, introduce people to something new or bring back a dish that everyone has been waiting all year to taste again.

Different kitchens. Different stories. One community. Two important causes.

Come and be part of Taste of Cómpeta. Let’s cook, share, celebrate and show just how much good a community can achieve when it comes together.

Interested in taking part? There is a meeting today, Wednesday at 6pm at the Ayuntamiento in the Salon de Actors.
