While doing this reportage we were 6 of us and coming out we are only 4 so it's extra emotional to have these beautiful photos of sweet Lincoln 17, adopted from SOS Galgos, and little Indio adopted as a senior. The most amazing little guy, we cherish all the moments we had together. And life goes on and new loves will come into our lives...

My first dog was a Galgo. I lived in Sweden and didn't know they were anything else than super elegant and sweet dogs that needed a coat in the winter and enjoyed the sofa. When moving to Spain I wasn't aware of that the dogs were still used for hunting in a rather cruel way. After hunting season they were left, killed or abandoned if not being very successful. I can still remember my first photos of a dead Galgo hanging from a tree. 😭 Absurd, horrifying.
It seems like we come a long way in Spain. Most people don't treat their pets with ignorance any more.
But we still have many miles to go...
Tag your photos, spread the word, adopt, be a member of any Galgo or Podenco rescue group. Foster if you can. Together we are putting a Galgo in almost every other home and in every country. Yey way to go.... Thanks for caring!

Give a Galgo or a Podenco (same situation for the Podencos ) the life they so deserve. They make just the most wonderful pets..

These little Bulldog gangsters😜 are modeling our new harness coats. Designed after our clients wishes. Reflective bands, stronger velcro, great soft satin silk fabric. Not too warm, wind protection and adjustable sizes. And so cute!
For "wanna be" leopards the jungle one is gorgeous. For pink lovers what can go wrong with a traditional Scottish tartan.
