I'm on holiday!, returning end of July!

All training and daycare will continue August. Book now.

Im missing Barrio, hoping he uses this time to recharge also. Then back to rehabilitation when i return.

This video was after our last session, returning back to the kennels and you can see him quite relaxed and confident, not 100% but progress!!

See you all again soon. 🐶👍

UNCUT video of Barrio 🐶🙁 you can see his fear and how hard it is to do simple tasks like walking on a lead. But he is getting better.
After this video we did another 30 mins walk and when he came back he was like a new dog 🐶🤩
He is definitely making progress step by step but he really struggles when people walk nearby as you can see in the video.

I will be working with him again tomorrow so wish him the best.

🐶 Barrio's 2nd walk 🐕‍🦺 and he is making good progress! 1 min into the video you can see him walking his fastest.

I am really happy with Barrio's progress, he walk further than last time and at a much better pace. He still needs his breaks to not get overwhelmed but we got through it!

I have to pull him quite a bit at the beginning but once he got moving he kept pace fod a while then got nervous again so took some convining to get moving once more.

I have high hopes for tomorrow when we try again and hopefully he does just as good or even better. Wish us luck once more 🤞🐶

Big Update for Barrio! 🐶🎉
Barrio had his 1st walk ever! ☺️🐕‍🦺

After weeks and months of small visits, I have managed to gain his trust to a conformable level. Last week i got him on a harness and after 30 mins of trying I eventually carried him out of the shelter to go explore the outside world once again.

This video shows him wearing his harness and then the 2nd part is us taking a break in the shade OUTSIDE the walls and cages of the shelter. It was overwhelming for him but we managed and eventually walked back to the grounds and his cage. He was happy to be back as the shelter is all he understands at the moment.

But it was a huge milestone and a success.
I will be seeing him again tomorrow and hopefully going on another walk. Wish us luck.

P. S. Livepaws do a great job of looking after him and all the other dogs but Barrio is the only dog there that is this traumatised and needs all the help he can get. I feel honoured that he trusts me.
