🐾 PET TRAVEL | DAY 4 🇬🇧🚐

Saturday — another BIG day on the road! ❤️

We started the morning with a lovely walk with our remaining dogs and plenty of cuddles with the cats before heading off for another busy day of drop-offs. 🐶🐱

Today’s journeys included:

🐶 Buddy — Mijas ➡️ Rugby
🐱 Roxy — Gibraltar ➡️ Burton-on-Trent
🐶 Orlando — Estepona ➡️ Northwich
🐶 Ivy, the Boston Terrier — Gibraltar ➡️ the Wirral
🐶 Rhona, the Golden Retriever — Gibraltar ➡️ Glasgow

Caroline & Rachel made the final drop-off in Glasgow at around 10pm, safely getting Rhona home. ❤️

We also had the lovely surprise of bumping into Elsa again (check our stories on Posh Pets Spain) 🥰 We transported her back to the UK last year, and her family have been clients of ours for many years. It’s always bittersweet when a journey means saying goodbye, but it was so lovely to see her again and know she’s settled happily. 🐾❤️

And we have to mention the incredible kindness from our clients yesterday. ❤️ Costa Coffee vouchers, chocolates, goodies and so many lovely messages and kind words. We are truly, eternally grateful. It means so much to our whole team. 🥹

And tomorrow… we start all over again! 🚐

Today is our last day of drop-offs, with Rachel & Caroline travelling from Glasgow all the way down to Devon for their final two drop-offs in Plymouth and Exmouth.

Then there’s no real rest… because tomorrow they begin the return journey to Spain, starting with pickups in Cardiff! 🇬🇧➡️🇪🇸

🐾 PET TRAVEL | DAY 3 🇫🇷➡️🇬🇧

Friday — Day 3, and the day we crossed into the UK! 🇬🇧🚐

After travelling up through France, we crossed from Calais into England with all 10 pets safely on board — and today was a big day for drop-offs too! 🐾

We had three very special reunions:

🐱 Millie — travelled all the way from Alicante to Hailsham
🐱 Leo — travelled from Gibraltar to Haringey
🐶 Teddy the Cockapoo — travelled from Sabinillas to Buckinghamshire

It wasn’t completely without a little delay, though! We were selected for a random DEFRA & Customs spot check on the UK side, which put us around an hour behind schedule while they checked all the pets’ paperwork, our licences and vehicle documentation. They also contacted some of the owners to verify details.

These checks can happen, and we completely embrace them — they’re simply doing their job, and we’re always happy to cooperate. ❤️ Everything was in order, all passports and paperwork were checked, and once we were given the all-clear, we sailed through! ✅

Another day, another few hundred miles, and most importantly… more happy pets safely reunited with their families. 🐾❤️

🐾 PET TRAVEL | DAY 2 🚐🇪🇸➡️🇫🇷

Day 2 and we’re on the road again! 🚐💨

Leaving Reus behind, we travelled all the way north to Beauvais with our full house of 10 pets on board — 4 cats 🐱 and 6 dogs 🐶.

Everyone has been absolutely brilliant and made the most amazing travel buddies. ❤️ Plenty of rest, care, cuddles and check-ins along the way, and thankfully all is going smoothly!

And when you’re travelling this many miles, you might as well enjoy the scenery! 😍 We came across some fantastic backdrops along the way, including our first stop as we crossed into France — Fortress of Salses. What an amazing find! 🏰🇫🇷

10 pets, one very busy van, beautiful scenery and lots of miles covered! 🐾🚐

Next stop… the UK! 🇬🇧❤️

🐾 PET TRAVEL | DAY 1 🚐🇪🇸

Our latest Pet Travel journey began on Wednesday, leaving our base at Posh Pets Spain and heading north to collect our final passenger beautiful Millie the cat 🐱 in Alicante.

From there, we continued our journey north, stopping overnight in Reus before another big day on the road.

Lots of miles, plenty of cuddles and, of course, making sure every pet is happy, comfortable and well cared for along the way. ❤️

Our next Spain ➡️ UK pet transport journey departs on 23 September — and we now have just 3 spaces remaining. 🇪🇸➡️🇬🇧

This journey saw Nuala, Lola, Florence, Daffy and Barney safely arrive at their new homes in Spain.

From regular comfort breaks and countryside walks along the way to ensuring every pet had plenty of attention, fresh air and a calm, comfortable journey, their wellbeing was our priority from start to finish.

🇪🇸➡️🇬🇧 Another successful Spain to UK pet transport completed!

This journey included Bella, Gus, Freddie, Primo, Harley, Lexi, Batman and their fellow travellers, all heading to different destinations across the UK.

From mountain walks in Spain and comfort breaks along the route, to countryside walks in the UK and emotional reunions with their families, every pet travelled safely and comfortably throughout their journey.

We believe pet transport is about more than getting from A to B. Regular exercise, individual care, plenty of attention and keeping stress to a minimum are all part of the service.

Our first stop after crossing into France this morning. Nothing but birdsong, fresh air, and three happy dogs stretching their legs before we continued our journey.
