🇬🇧➡️🇪🇸 Another successful UK to Spain pet transport completed! 🚐🐾

This journey saw Nuala, Lola, Florence, Daffy and Barney safely arrive at their new homes in Spain.

From regular comfort breaks and countryside walks along the way to ensuring every pet had plenty of attention, fresh air and a calm, comfortable journey, their wellbeing was our priority from start to finish.

🇪🇸➡️🇬🇧 Another successful Spain to UK pet transport completed!

This journey included Bella, Gus, Freddie, Primo, Harley, Lexi, Batman and their fellow travellers, all heading to different destinations across the UK.

From mountain walks in Spain and comfort breaks along the route, to countryside walks in the UK and emotional reunions with their families, every pet travelled safely and comfortably throughout their journey.

We believe pet transport is about more than getting from A to B. Regular exercise, individual care, plenty of attention and keeping stress to a minimum are all part of the service.

Our first stop after crossing into France this morning. Nothing but birdsong, fresh air, and three happy dogs stretching their legs before we continued our journey.

After these dates, we pause all travel during the summer months due to the extreme heat. Your pets’ safety always comes first — high temperatures make travel risky and even simple walks can become dangerous on hot ground. 🐶❤️

🚨 Important update for pet travel 🚨

New rules have come into effect for pets travelling from Great Britain to the EU as of 22 April 2026.

Under these changes:
❗ EU pet passports issued to GB residents are no longer valid for travel to the EU
❗ An Animal Health Certificate (AHC) is now required for each trip
❗ Owners should check requirements with the destination country before travelling

This isn’t just theory—we’ve already seen the impact today. We had to ask a client, right before collection, to urgently arrange an AHC due to the new rules coming into force.

⚠️ We’re also hearing mixed messages at ports, with some officials quoting different guidance and suggesting nothing has changed despite the 22 April implementation date. This inconsistency makes it even more important to be prepared.

If you’re planning to travel with your pet, please don’t leave it until the last minute. These certificates need to be arranged in advance through an Official Veterinarian.
