We were asked yesterday to help 3 puppy's that have turned up in the rambla on the outskirts of Albox, luckily some kind locals have been feeding them.....
This morning Helen set of the collect them and took them to Milly from AA dog rescue they are now safely on their way to the puppy crèche to begin their new lives....

New into our care is this beautiful rough coated galgo/lurcher girl, she was found several days ago on the outskirts of Albox running down the road.....
We know she has a microchip that is registered to Murcia, unfortunately the vets there have no record of her but for now she's safe in our care, we have named her Willow.....
Does anybody recognise this beautiful girl, she's very friendly with both people and other dogs....

New into our care is this beautiful boy, we have named him Sampson....
Sampson has been in the campo fending for himself for some time, he has an old foot injury which has been xrayed and we are waiting for results on also his blood tests results.....
He's an older boy about 6 years and very calm and gentle, he's been settled in and will be given time to decompress....

Hi all you lovely people in Alfoquia I need your help.....
A very kind lady has become ill and needs to leave her property, her cat and dog have been rehomed but she's also been feeding 2 feral cats each day and she would rest easy if someone could take over the feeding of these 2 feral cats....
The property is on calle Gladiolo, her son is at the property and has started to feed the cats at the back, outside of the property so they get used to eating there, is there anyone local who can help please.....

This lovely girl was found on Saturday wandering around in the rain in the los Higueralres area, a kind family have taken her in as they were worried about her....
Does anybody recognise her, she looks in a good condition, definitely not under weight, she's friendly so indicates she could have an owner....

Our 3 new pups recently rescued from a cave met baby Leo to see if he could bring them out of there shell a bit more, poor babies have never really had human contact apart from the lovely people who fed and rescued them so everything is a new experience for them, so time and patience is what we are giving them....
We have named them Poppy, Peaches and Pansy.....

👴🐾❤️ GRANDAD TEODORO IS 14… SURELY HE DESERVES BETTER THAN A PALLET? ❤️🐾👴

Meet Teodoro, our rather gorgeous 41kg grandad who may be 14 years old, but he certainly hasn’t given up on life — so we’re not giving up on finding him a home. 🥰

At his age, Teodoro isn’t asking for much.

He doesn’t need mountain hikes.
He doesn’t need hours of entertainment.
He’s not looking for wild nights out. 😂

He’d just quite like a comfy bed, short gentle walks, a full tummy and someone to love him. ❤️

Michelle says:
“Teodoro is a very friendly older boy with still a lot to give. Even at 14, he still likes to go for his short walks and is excellent on the lead. He shows no interest in other dogs or cats while out on his walks and is very happy to sit beside you for lots of attention. If you’re looking for a very quiet, calm and affectionate older boy, Teodoro would be perfect for you.” ❤️

And Amy says:
“Teodoro is a big gentle giant. He loves a slow pace and loves nothing more than sitting having a cuddle with you. He doesn’t walk too far and is very gentle. He has long fur that will need grooming.” 🥰

Two volunteers. Same verdict.

He’s basically a big, furry, cuddly grandad who wants a quiet retirement. ❤️

And that’s what makes seeing him in the kennels particularly sad.

At 14 years old, this lovely old gentleman really shouldn’t be sleeping on a pallet. 😢

He’s no trouble. He’s calm. He’s affectionate. He enjoys his little walks and then he’s quite happy just to sit beside you and have a cuddle.

🏡 A soft bed.
❤️ A kind hand.
🐾 A gentle potter around.
🪮 A brush through that lovely long coat.
🥰 And someone to tell him he’s a good boy.

That’s really all Grandad Teodoro is asking for.

Please don’t discard an old dog because of the number attached to his age. Older dogs still love, still enjoy life and still deserve to belong to someone.

At 14, Teodoro shouldn’t be wondering where his home went.

He should be snoring on somebody’s rug. ❤️
