Fox is finally back home after going through several difficult surgeries. ❤️ It has been an extremely stressful and emotional time for all of us, but we are so grateful that he made it through and can now continue his recovery at home. His total veterinary and surgery costs came to 600€. If anyone would like to support us with Fox’s medical expenses, we would be incredibly grateful for any help, no matter how small. Every contribution means a lot to us and helps us continue taking care of him during his recovery. ❤️🐾 Thank you to everyone who has been asking about Fox, sending messages, and keeping him in your thoughts.

We’re sorry we haven’t been able to share updates about the horses either🫣☺️

FOX IS FIGHTING🐾❤️

Four days ago, we got the call that changed everything. Dr Essam told us Fox needed emergency surgery – a diaphragmatic hernia. Without it, he would die.

We didn’t understand until he explained: the impact from the car was SO VIOLENT that Fox’s heart and liver were squeezed right next to each other. His organs were literally crushing his lungs. That’s how hard he was hit.

And the driver? Never even stopped to check if he was alive.

And today – the most beautiful sound – Fox is BARKING with the other hospital dogs it means He’s healing.💪😂

The road ahead: 10 more days of antibiotics, then surgery on his injured leg. We’re hoping to move him to one of the free clinics here in Hurghada to ease the burden, but we’ll do whatever it takes to keep him alive.

Yes, he’s “just a dog” to some people. But to us he’s on of our oldest dogs and more then 6 years with us! And the fact that someone could hit him and never look back? That says everything about them and nothing about him.

Thank you to everyone who cares – who sees Fox as the precious life he is and not JUST A DOG! 🐕
