وممكن الحيوان يفضل بياكل، بيتحرك، بيلعب أو حتى بيخرخر، ومع ذلك يكون عنده ألم.
🔹 الهدوء مش معناه إن مفيش ألم.
🔹 الأكل مش معناه إن الحيوان مش بيتألم.
🔹 الخرخرة مش دايمًا معناها راحة أو سعادة.
🔹 التصرف الطبيعي مش بيستبعد وجود الألم.
🔹 أي تغيير بسيط في السلوك ممكن يكون علامة مهمة.

QUIET DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN COMFORTABLE
Animals are remarkably good at hiding pain.
A pet may still eat, move around, purr, or appear “normal” — while something is actually wrong.
🔹 Quiet doesn’t always mean comfortable.
🔹 Eating doesn’t mean pain-free.
🔹 Purring doesn’t always mean contentment.
🔹 Acting normally doesn’t rule out pain.
🔹 Small changes in behavior can be important clues.
And this applies beyond dogs and cats.

Pain recognition requires looking at the whole patient — posture, movement, interaction, appetite, facial expression, grooming, vocalization, and changes from their individual normal behavior.

هل لاحظت إن لون البول اتغير؟ أو إن حيوانك الأليف بقى بيتبول أكتر أو أقل من المعتاد؟
هل بيحاول يتبول كتير، أو بيظهر عليه ألم أو مجهود أثناء التبول؟
دي مش مجرد تغييرات عادية دائمًا 👀
🔎 من أهم العلامات اللي تستحق الانتباه: 🔴 وجود دم في البول — Hematuria
☁️ صديد أو عكارة في البول — Pyuria
🤎 بول شديد الغمقان — Coluria
💧 زيادة كمية البول — Polyuria
⬇️ قلة كمية البول — Oliguria
🚫 انعدام خروج البول — Anuria
😣 ألم أو انزعاج أثناء التبول — Dysuria
💦 التبول المتكرر بكميات صغيرة — Pollakiuria
⚠️ صعوبة وبطء التبول مع مجهود — Stranguria
🚨 خصوصًا عدم القدرة على إخراج البول حالة طارئة وتحتاج لتقييم بيطري سريع.
راقب التغييرات، لأن التفاصيل الصغيرة ممكن تكون أول علامة على مشكلة في الجهاز البولي.

🐾💛 Your pet’s urine can reveal important clues about their health!
Have you noticed a change in your pet’s urine color?
Are they urinating more or less than usual?
Are they straining, urinating frequently, or showing signs of pain?
These changes shouldn’t always be ignored. 👀
🔎 Urinary changes that deserve attention:
🔴 Hematuria — Blood in the urine
☁️ Pyuria — Pus, cloudiness, or a milky appearance
🤎 Coluria — Very dark urine that may be associated with bilirubin
💧 Polyuria — Increased urine volume
⬇️ Oliguria — Decreased urine volume
🚫 Anuria — Absence of urine production or elimination
😣 Dysuria — Pain or discomfort while urinating
💦 Pollakiuria — Frequent urination in small amounts
⚠️ Stranguria — Slow, difficult urination with straining
🚨 Especially important: inability to urinate can be an emergency and requires prompt veterinary evaluation.
Your pet may not be able to tell you something is wrong — but their urine might.

💧 قطتك أو كلبك بيشربوا مياه كفاية؟

كمية المياه اللي حيوانك الأليف محتاجها مش ثابتة…
بتختلف حسب نوع الأكل، الوزن، النشاط، وكمان الجو. ☀️❄️

🐶🐱 المعدل الطبيعي تقريبًا

الحيوان البالغ السليم يحتاج في المتوسط حوالي 40–60 مل مياه لكل كجم من وزن الجسم يوميًا في الظروف العادية.

⚠️ والمهم هنا إن الرقم ده يشمل المياه اللي بياخدها من الأكل + المياه اللي بيشربها.

🥩 لو الحيوان بياكل DRY FOOD

الدراي فود فيه نسبة مياه قليلة جدًا، وبالتالي معظم احتياجه من المياه لازم ييجي من الشرب.

مثال:

🐱 قطة وزنها 4 كجم → حوالي 160–240 مل يوميًا
🐶 كلب وزن 10 كجم → حوالي 400–600 مل يوميًا

وده تقدير عام، والاحتياج ممكن يزيد حسب درجة الحرارة والنشاط والحالة الصحية.

🍲 لو بياكل WET أو FRESH FOOD

الأكل الرطب أو الطازج ممكن يحتوي على 60–80% مياه أو أكثر 💧

وبالتالي جزء كبير من احتياج الحيوان للمياه بييجي من الأكل نفسه.

يعني ممكن تلاقي قطتك اللي بتاكل Wet Food بتشرب مياه قليلة جدًا… وده مش معناه بالضرورة إنها مش بتاخد كفايتها.

☀️ في الصيف

الاحتياج للمياه ممكن يزيد بسبب:

🌡️ ارتفاع درجة الحرارة
🐕 اللهاث
🏃 زيادة النشاط
💦 زيادة فقدان السوائل

خصوصًا في الكلاب، والحيوانات اللي بتقضي وقت طويل في أماكن حارة.

❄️ وفي الشتاء؟

ممكن تلاحظ إن الحيوان بيشرب أقل شوية بسبب انخفاض الحرارة وقلة اللهاث والنشاط.

لكن المياه لازم تكون متاحة طول الوقت، صيف وشتاء. 💧

🚨 إمتى نقلق؟

لو لاحظت تغيير واضح ومستمر في كمية المياه اللي حيوانك بيشربها، لازم ناخد الموضوع بجدية.

زيادة الشرب ممكن تكون مرتبطة بمشاكل زي:
• أمراض الكلى
• مرض السكري
• فرط نشاط الغدة الدرقية في القطط
• بعض أمراض الكبد
• بعض الأدوية

وقلة الشرب ممكن تكون مقلقة خصوصًا مع:
• القيء أو الإسهال
• الخمول
• فقدان الشهية
• جفاف اللثة
• قلة التبول

💡 الأهم مش إنك تقارن حيوانك بغيره… الأهم إنك تعرف إيه الطبيعي بالنسبة له وتلاحظ أي تغيير.

🐾 لأن القطة اللي بتاكل Wet Food ممكن تشرب مياه قليلة جدًا…

بينما القطة اللي بتاكل Dry Food ممكن تعتمد بشكل أكبر على مياه الشرب.

لو لاحظت إن حيوانك بيشرب مياه أكتر أو أقل بشكل واضح عن المعتاد، استشير طبيبك البيطري. 🩺🐾



💧 How Much Water Does Your Pet Really Need?

Is your cat or dog drinking “enough” water?
The answer depends on what they eat—and even the season. ☀️❄️

🐶🐱 A simple guide to daily water needs

A healthy adult dog or cat generally needs around 40–60 mL of total water per kg of body weight per day under normal conditions.

But there’s an important detail: this includes water obtained from food.

🥩 If your pet eats DRY FOOD

Dry kibble contains very little water, so your pet needs to drink most of their daily requirement.

➡️ Dogs & cats: approximately 40–60 mL/kg/day as drinking water under comfortable conditions.

For example:
🐱 A 4 kg cat → roughly 160–240 mL/day
🐶 A 10 kg dog → roughly 400–600 mL/day

🍲 If your pet eats WET or FRESH FOOD

Wet/fresh diets can contain 60–80% or more water, so a significant part of the daily requirement comes directly from food.

That means they may drink considerably less water—and still be perfectly hydrated. 💧

So don't judge hydration simply by looking at the water bowl!

☀️ SUMMER vs ❄️ WINTER

In summer, water requirements can increase because of:
🌡️ Higher environmental temperature
🐕 Increased panting
🏃 More activity
💦 Increased water loss

In winter, some pets may drink less because they lose less water through panting and may be less active.

But water should ALWAYS be freely available, regardless of the season.

🚨 When should you pay attention?

A noticeable change in drinking habits can be an important clinical sign.

Increased drinking may occur with conditions such as:
• Kidney disease
• Diabetes mellitus
• Hyperthyroidism in cats
• Liver disease
• Certain medications

Decreased drinking can also be concerning, especially when accompanied by:
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Lethargy
• Poor appetite
• Dry/tacky gums
• Reduced urination

💡 One of the easiest ways to monitor your pet's hydration is to know what is NORMAL for them.

And remember:

A pet eating wet food may drink very little.
A pet eating dry food may need to drink much more.

If you're concerned that your pet is drinking too much or too little, don't wait for severe symptoms—ask your veterinarian. 🩺🐾

الزلزال خلص... لكن ممكن يكون لسه مخوّف حيوانك الأليف. 🐾

بعد أي زلزال، طبيعي إن الحيوانات الأليفة تحس بالخوف أو التوتر، حتى لو إحنا رجعنا لهدوءنا.

ممكن تلاحظ:
🐶 بيستخبى في مكان غريب.
🐱 بيرتعش أو بينهج.
🐦 بيصدر أصوات أكتر من الطبيعي.
🍽️ يرفض الأكل أو يشرب أقل.
❤️ يبقى لازق فيك أو العكس يبعد عن الكل.

إيه اللي تعمله؟
✅ خليك هادي، لأن حيوانك بيستمد الأمان منك.
✅ متجبرهوش يخرج من مكانه.
✅ وفر له مياه نظيفة وخليه يرجع لروتينه بالتدريج.
✅ اتأكد إن مفيش زجاج مكسور أو حاجات وقعت ممكن تأذيه.
✅ اتأكد إن الطوق أو وسيلة التعريف الخاصة بيه موجودة كويس، لأن بعض الحيوانات ممكن تهرب وهي مرعوبة.

لو لاحظت إصابة، أو صعوبة في التنفس، أو إن الخوف والتوتر مستمرين بشكل شديد خصوصا المصابين بالأزمة والطيور تواصل مع الطبيب البيطري.

The earthquake is over... but your pet may still be frightened. 🐾

Just because the shaking has stopped doesn't mean your pet feels safe yet.

Many dogs, cats, and even birds may experience stress after an earthquake. You might notice:
• Hiding in unusual places
• Trembling or excessive panting
• Barking or vocalizing more than usual
• Refusing food
• Clinging to you or acting unusually withdrawn

💚 Here's how you can help:
• Stay calm—your pet looks to you for reassurance.
• Don't force them out of their hiding place.
• Offer fresh water and keep their normal routine as much as possible.
• Check your home for broken glass, sharp objects, or anything that may have fallen.
• Make sure your pet's collar or identification is secure in case they become startled and try to escape.

If your pet continues to show severe anxiety, has difficulty breathing, is injured, or behaves abnormally for more than a day, contact your veterinarian.

الألم... هو أصعب ما يواجه مريض السرطان. 💔

ليس السرطان وحده هو المؤلم، بل أحيانًا تكون رحلة العلاج نفسها مرهقة ومؤلمة أيضًا.

ومن هنا بدأت رحلتي مع العلاج بالأوزون البيطري. كان هدفي أن أبحث عن وسيلة تساعد حيواناتنا الأليفة على الشعور براحة أكبر وتحسين جودة حياتها أثناء رحلة العلاج.

العلاج بالأوزون ليس بديلًا عن الجراحة أو العلاج الكيميائي أو أي علاج بيطري أساسي، لكنه قد يكون علاجًا داعمًا في بعض الحالات، حيث يساعد على:
🐾 دعم التئام الأنسجة.
🐾 المساهمة في تقليل الالتهابات.
🐾 دعم الجهاز المناعي.
🐾 تحسين جودة الحياة تحت إشراف الطبيب البيطري.

وليس استخدامه مقتصرًا على مرضى السرطان، فقد يفيد أيضًا في العديد من الحالات الأخرى مثل الجروح المزمنة، وبعض الالتهابات، والحالات التي تحتاج إلى دعم عملية التعافي.

لأنهم أفراد من عائلتنا... ويستحقون أن يعيشوا براحة وأقل ألمًا. ❤️

What makes cancer one of the hardest diseases to face?

Pain.

Not only can cancer itself be painful, but many treatments can also be physically demanding for our beloved pets.

Years ago, that was one of the reasons I introduced veterinary ozone therapy to Egypt. The thought of an animal suffering pushed me to search for supportive therapies that could improve comfort and quality of life.

Ozone therapy works by stimulating the body's own biological responses. When used appropriately and under veterinary supervision, it may support tissue healing, help modulate inflammation, and enhance overall well-being.

In veterinary oncology, ozone therapy is not a replacement for surgery, chemotherapy, or other standard cancer treatments. It can, however, be used as a supportive therapy in selected cases to help improve comfort and quality of life.

And it's not only for cancer. Many pets with chronic wounds, infections, inflammatory conditions, and other diseases may also benefit from ozone therapy when it is part of a proper treatment plan.

No pet should have to suffer in silence.
