Hagoromo ( Crest )

The presence of a crest is a fundamental and mandatory characteristic of the Hagoromo variety.

• As a defining feature of the breed, every Hagoromo exhibit is expected to display a clearly identifiable crest.

• Any bird lacking a crest fails to meet the essential requirements of the Hagoromo standard.

• The absence of a crest shall be considered a major fault during the judging process.

• In accordance with the applicable show rules and judging standards, a crestless exhibit may be subject to significant penalisation or, where prescribed, disqualification from competition.
