For those who have follow this page for a while you’ll know we love an update. 💖🐶

So who’s ready for an update on the handsome Cairo (was Jojo)…. ?🐶

Cairo was found tied up outside Enas Hussam old apartment door. It was a truly sad sight and I did stop and wonder whether to share his first photo as it’s so upsetting, but it’s part of his journey and important to share.

Cairo’s road to recovery took time with Enas feeding him tiny meals every few hours to help build him up. It was touch and go for the first few weeks … he was so tiny he was weighed in a bowl on the kitchen scales.

He joined the resident cats and they loved him, often snuggling up together 💖

He won many FB followers and won hearts, and at the time I remember feeling like we already knew his new family … and my hunch was right … the lovely Stephie Raine Zinone who is passionate about rescue dogs and had sent Cairo many gifts on his road to recovery and had truly fallen for this gorgeous boy.

However flights for dogs from Egypt to the UK are really expensive… and fast forward a few months, with Steph leading the fundraising, and raffles run by supporters, until what seemed an impossible target, was reached 🙏🐾✈️💖

Cairo now lives the life he deserves and absolutely spoilt rotten. As a nod to what Enas had done, his full name is Cairo Enas 🐾💖

He’s regal and goofy … loves wearing jumpers and adores his mum Steph and his doggie brother and sister 🙏🐶💖 thank you Steph for giving Cairo such a fantastic life and allowing his story to be shared 🙏

Little pic of our own rescue babe Caramel from Dubai 🧡. I was told at the time we brought her over that the Mau breed are different with their DNA being directly linked to African Wild cats. 6 Months in I would not disagree 😂 She flies rather than runs, and continues to be sassy, funny and a bit weird lol 😂

Throwback to our gorgeous boy Leo 🐾 originally rescued in 2023 by Enas Hussam when she found him abandoned in a bin on the street in Cairo, Egypt. He was lucky to survive and eventually rehomed to a local family. Unfortunately due to the family relocating, Leo needed help in 2024, and Enas came to the rescue again.

Between Enas and a v good friend in Cairo helping care for this handsome King Shepherd, by the power of Facebook, Leo found the most perfect home in Norfolk in the UK. To say it was a miracle is an understatement! ✨🙏🐾🥰

We regularly hear updates and two years later Leo loves his home with his gorgeous sister Molly who likes to hide the tennis balls to torment him 😂 enjoy your life Leo and keep hold of those tennis balls 🥰🫶🐾

So grateful for another rehome 🙏✨🐾💖
