A winter with new goals ahead. 🤍

With BJ, I want to use the coming months to become more confident, precise and competitive in Trail. There are still so many details we can improve — from the way we approach each obstacle to the communication and trust between us throughout the entire course.

But this winter will also bring a completely new challenge: Western Riding.

Starting a new discipline means being willing to feel like a beginner again. It requires patience, curiosity and plenty of repetition, but that is also where some of the greatest development happens.

I’m excited to strengthen what we already know, challenge ourselves with something new and see how far consistent work can take us.

Trail and Western Riding — we have a busy winter ahead of us, BJ. Let’s get to work. 🤍

A kind horse looking for the right home🤍

Choko is by Dun Lotsma Chocolate and has been shown in reining. He is now looking for his new Person to continue his career and help him build confidence in the show pen. With the right guidance, he may also have potential for ranch classes.

He is sweet out on the trail, stops well, has a nice spin and has easy lead changes. In the show pen, he can become a little unsure and strong, so consistent, thoughtful training will be important as he gains confidence.

The right match matters most. His new owner doesn’t need to have everything figured out from day one; horse and rider can learn and grow together with the right support and a good training plan. 🤎

A loving, committed home is far more important than price. Please get in touch to learn more or arrange a visit. 🤍

The future of our sport starts with the young riders who are brave enough to give it a try. 🤍

Right now, four young riders are coming to my clinics in Næstved, and another four have started group lessons in Sorring. Seeing their curiosity, courage and eagerness to learn makes me so excited for what’s ahead. I hope they’ll keep going — I would love to see where this journey takes them.

Here’s six-year-old Mathilde and me sharing a ride on sweet Morgan, who is only four and handled it all beautifully. We worked on helping Mathilde feel the rhythm in her body and practise making a plan for where she wanted to ride.

Those may sound like small things, but they are the foundations of good horsemanship. And watching a young rider begin to find that feel? That’s pretty special. 🐴
