Today is the day Ditte and I picked up a freakishly big Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy back in 2010 - he would change my life forever and make an everlasting impression on everything that I was and am. I had my Hannibal by my side for 12.5 years before he had to go. I am so thankful for the chapters of my life that I got to spend with him, they will forever be my favourite - he made everything better!

I feel kinda bad to still be so heartbroken by his loss as I’m sitting here surrounded by 3 of the most wonderful dogs in existence but it really is true that your heart just expands to love more dogs, yet there will always be a hole in my heart shaped just like my Hannibal, my heart dog 🥹❤️‍🩹

What’s it like living with Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs? Here’s your answer 😉 Obviously, there’s a lot more to it, and a lot of it is sun-kissed cuddles 🥰 But a Rhodesian Ridgeback is a lot of dog, not just size-wise. Get ready for larger-than-life personalities, big feelings and an ever-present mischievous twinkle in the eye.
