A little bit of our daycare family 🇩🇰🐶

Sometimes you might see some new young faces coming and going at CPH Pets Club! We regularly welcome students doing school internships with us, giving them a little peek into life working with dogs. 🐾

But behind all those changing faces, we have our little permanent team working hard every day. 💪🏼💕

Here you can see Iara, who assists us with a little bit of everything, and Dominika, our grooming trainee. Our groomer Misty is currently enjoying her holidays ☀️ and me, Edna, well… I’m behind the curtains as usual 🫣😂

Normally, we’re a team of 4–5 hardworking girls, all trying to build a sweet little place where the doggies always come first. 🤘🏻

And we really love our daycare the way it is: small, cozy and homey. We want to know the dogs that come through our doors, their personalities, their little quirks and, of course, who their besties are. 🐶🐶😂

Boys will be boys. 🐶

Sometimes the daycare committee likes to supervise the grooming room… and we can’t say they’re not a little curious. 😂

On another note, we’d like to share a few small updates that will help us create a calmer environment and give all our dogs even more space and attention. 🙏🏻

🐾 Please don’t leave bags at the salon.
As much as we’d love to keep everyone’s tote bags and transport bags, we’re simply running out of space. We’d rather use every bit of it for the dogs!

🐾 Leashes & harnesses
You’ll find green storage boxes on the left when you arrive. Feel free to place your dog’s leash or harness in one of them. We also recommend writing your dog’s name on them, as many dogs have identical accessories.

🐾 Please arrive at your appointment time.
If you arrive early, we kindly ask you to wait outside or enjoy a short walk around the neighbourhood until it’s time. Our team follows a tight schedule, and those last few minutes before your appointment are often when we’re finishing another dog, returning from walks, or preparing your dog’s session.

🐾 Please wait for our text before coming to collect your dog. Every dog is different, so grooming times can vary from one visit to the next. A dog may have more knots, be more excited, or simply need a little extra patience that day.

If owners arrive before we’ve sent the collection message, the dogs in daycare often spot (or smell!) them and get excited. Once one starts barking, everyone joins in… including the dog we’re grooming!
(We are prepared for that, but only if the groom has been finished 😂☝🏻)
That can make it much harder to safely finish the groom and may even delay everyone else’s appointments.

Summer refresh for this fluffy boy 🐶

His family wanted to keep him looking nice and fluffy (because that’s part of his charm!), so instead of taking a lot off, we simply lightened his coat where it matters most. Eyes so he could see better and trimmed some of the chest to help him stay a little cooler during these warm Copenhagen days. 🤘🏻

A reminder for all our lovely clients:

☀️ We’re OPEN all summer!
The only days we’ll be closed are the weekends in weeks 32 & 33. (Week 31 has already passed.)

If you need to cancel or make changes to a Monday appointment, please send us an email rather than calling. We don’t monitor our work phone while we’re off during the weekend, so email is the quickest way for us to see your message and help you as soon as we’re back.

We do make a lot of teddy bears around here… 🧸🤭

But the truth is, there isn’t just one “teddy bear cut.” Every dog is different, so we always adapt the style to the breed, coat, face shape, and, of course, your personal preference.

Whether you love a Japanese Teddy Bear, a more traditional look, an Asian Fusion style, or a doodle finish, we’ll find the style that suits your furbaby best.

☀️ Going away this summer? Don’t forget to book your grooming appointment in advance. Summer fills up quickly, and we’d love to have your dog looking fresh before your holiday!

Good news! We’ve opened up more grooming slots, so if your dog is due for a fresh summer groom, now’s the perfect time to book. 🫧

A little reminder:
We will NOT be closing for the summer – we’ll be here grooming all season long! 🤘🏻😎

The only exception is that we’ll be closed on weekends during weeks 31, 32 & 33. If weekends are the only time you can visit us, we highly recommend booking in advance, as those appointments tend to fill up quickly.

If weekdays work for you, we’ll be here ready to welcome you☀️

Fluffy coats like this don’t just happen by magic 🫣

Beautiful puffy legs, teddy bear faces, soft fluffy fur… this style is only possible when the coat is consistently brushed and maintained at home. And when we say consistently, we mean much more than once a week☝🏻

The more tangled and compacted the coat becomes, the harder it is to achieve these soft, rounded styles without needing to shave shorter for the dog’s comfort.

Every little angel has a little devil inside😂
And honestly… can you blame them?

If you wait until the coat is full of knots and mats before brushing at home, brushing becomes uncomfortable — and sometimes even painful. So when owners say:
“She doesn’t let me brush her…”

Many times it’s simply because the experience already became stressful for the dog 🥺

Regular brushing and maintenance grooming help your dog:

💩Get used to handling
💩Enjoy the grooming process instead of fearing it
