One of our favourite things at CPH Pets Club is keeping that puppy look, even when they’re not puppies anymore. Our teddy bear style focuses especially on the face: keeping it round, soft and balanced, without those heavy or droopy-looking cheeks.

We’re turning 2 this October! 🍂 And of course, we need to celebrate with our doggies too.

It’s a little crazy to think that it has already been two years since we opened our doors.

We’ve met SO many dogs. Some came to us as tiny puppies and are now fully grown. Some come every week for daycare, some we only see every few months for their haircut, and somehow we still remember their little personalities when they walk through the door.

We’ve learned a lot in these two years. We’ve made changes, learned from mistakes, given a lot of advice (sometimes probably too much 😂), and also learned a lot from you.

Most of all, we’re very thankful to everyone who has trusted us with their dog. Especially those of you who have been with us since the beginning and have grown together with our little business.

Two years!! 🤎

And we’re not celebrating only once. We have a few more little things planned for October, so keep an eye on us.

A puppy’s first grooms are not only about the before & after. The earlier they start coming to the salon, the better!🤎

Those first visits help them slowly get used to having their face, paws and body handled, the sound of the dryer and clippers, standing on the grooming table and all the little things that will be part of grooming for the rest of their life.

Starting young helps make grooming feel normal rather than something scary or completely new later on — especially when it comes to working around the face.

And this October is extra special for us because CPH Pets Club is turning 2! 🍂🐶✌🏻

Two years of fluffy faces, muddy paws, transformations and so many doggies becoming part of our little family.🥹

We’ll be celebrating throughout the month, so keep an eye on our page because we have a few surprises coming!

And if you have a new puppy at home, don’t wait until they desperately need a haircut to introduce them to grooming. You can already book their first puppy visit and help them start on the right paw.

Yes… it’s the same dog!
Making sure your puppy keeps looking like a puppy 🫣

Summer is officially over, and we can definitely see that autumn has arrived in Copenhagen 🍂 Rainy walks, wet coats and all that moisture mean we’re already seeing more knots, matting and coats that need a little extra help.

A little maintenance can make a BIG difference before those small knots turn into a full haircut:

🍂 Essential Brushing — when the coat needs some extra detangling and help preventing mats.
🍂 Essential Grooming — for paws, hygiene areas and all those little details.
🍂 Bubbles & Tidy — the perfect maintenance groom between full appointments.
🍂 Bubbles & Cut — if the summer holidays got in the way of the grooming routine and it’s time for a proper reset.

And at home: dry your dog properly after rainy walks and keep brushing!

Bubbles & Stripping

And yes… this is an Airedale Terrier — and definitely one of the biggest ones we’ve had at CPH Pets Club! 😅Two groomers, two hours, and a lot of hand-stripping later… look at that transformation🤘🏻

Hand-stripping is a special grooming technique for wire-coated dogs. Instead of clipping the coat with a machine, the old, dead hairs are carefully removed by hand, helping the new coat come through while maintaining the natural texture, colour and character of the wire coat. ( This technique is optional)

It takes time, patience and the right technique — but the result is worth it 🤎

Our Bubbles & Stripping is available for wire-coated dogs that require hand-stripping, such as Airedale Terriers, Schnauzers, Border Terriers and more.

Autumn is here, which means rainy walks, wet paws and coats that can start matting much faster. Remember to dry your dog properly after rainy walks and give them a good brush once the coat is dry — those little habits make a big difference in preventing mats. 🍁

September is here… which means the cozy (and muddy) months are officially starting! 🍂

Here’s a little before & after from one of our beautiful customers after a Bubbles & Deshedding treatment.

For this treatment, we use special products that help release and remove dead coat, followed by a good deshedding session and some scissor work around the ears, face and body to bring everything back into shape — without taking away that beautiful natural fluff.

And with autumn comes rain, wet paws, mud and coats that can start tangling much faster. So a little reminder that you don’t always need a full groom! We have smaller maintenance services to help you through the cozy months too:
