From early childhood I knew that with my deep passion & love for animals, healing & working with them would be my life🙌🏽 From saving wounded birds off the street to walking dogs and caring for stray, neglected, abused & hungry animals this would be my true calling! I grew up on a farm in South Africa which enabled my affinity with animals to evolve exponentially and passionately. I volunteered C.R

How hot is to hot?

Temperatures are rising over the next few weeks.
Such a warm environment, some dogs can develop heatstroke in only 30 minutes. Death can occur within an hour.
Checklist
Shade✅️ Water✅️
Short walk✅️ Humidity✅️
Temperature✅️ Early signs of heatstroke✅️

Dogs don't have to be left in a hot car to get heatstroke. Intense exercise in a hot, humid environment can make it difficult for a dog to cool themselves down.
A general rule of thumb to use is, If the outdoor temperature is too hot or cold for a human to be comfortable, it’s too severe for your dog. Hot temperatures, combined with humidity, can cause dehydration and heatstroke.
Keep yourself and your animals hydrated together with rest and nosework sessions in the shade.
