My little pony Icaro 🤍 Almost 18 years old, and getting back into shape after my pregnancy and postpartum break.
So many things to improve, small unbalances, more suppleness, stability and so on. So much to learn 🎠
For the first time, I’m riding and training without a coach or daily guidance. Not because I’m done learning — I never will be — but because circumstances have made it this way for now.
In the meantime, I’m learning every single day. Reading the old books on Classical Dressage. Learning to watch, to feel, to trust, to make mistakes, to try again, to feel again… and, above all, to be patient.
Always putting the horses’ needs first. And right now, they are my greatest teachers.
This journey is teaching me so much, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and discovering more every day — together with my horses. Until we yet again have a mentor by our side.
