Yokoyamasou ist eine kleine Zuchtstätte in Süddeutschland. Unser Ziel ist die Zucht und Erhaltung der Rasse Shikoku Ken in Deutschland.

Yokoyama Sou ist eine kleine non-profit Shikoku Zuchtstätte in Vaihingen an der Enz, Baden-Württemberg. Unser Ziel ist es gesunde, wesensfeste und schöne Shikokus zu züchten. About us:

Yokoyama Sou is a small non-profit kennel located in the southwest of Germany, which arouse out of passion and love for the Shikoku Ken. Giving our dogs a large amount of outdoor activities, good training and high quality food every day is of capital importance for us. We are very selective when it comes to our breeding dogs since we focuse on good health, friendly character and beauty. To accomplish to the aforesaid points we work together closely with Shikoku kennels all over the world. Unlike to other kennels our dogs live with us in the house and aren’t kept in kennels. We do a lot of off-leash and obedience training on our daily walks. Our dogs are well trained and socialized and we can take them everywhere with us.

World Dog Show recap 🏆 🇮🇹 🎉

During our vacation in the Netherlands I spontaneously got asked by Akai Bijo Kara if I would like to join their trip to the WDS in Bologna, IT.

Stupid question, of course I'm in for a 17 hour road trip through 5 countries to see everyone and their dogs 🤪

We had a fantastic day at WDS, got to make new friends, saw 30 Shikoku and had a fun day together.
It rarely happens that the community comes together at one place which is why events like this are very special for our small and internationally spread breed.

I feel like I am still lacking sleep from this crazy roadtrip weekend of ours, but it was sure worth it!

See everyone next year, which luckily for me, will be just around the corner in Austria 💪🏼🥳

Im Zuge unserer Wurfplanung für dieses Jahr sind wir in die Normandie gereist um unsere Kandidaten für Kaoris ersten Wurf persönlich kennenzulernen 🤩

Wir haben uns mit Victoria und ihrem Shikoku Rüden Kougetsu zu einem Strandspaziergang bei bestem Wetter verabredet 🌊 💗 ✨

Auf dem Rückweg nach Deutschland haben wir uns die anderen Kandidaten angeschaut und nun eine Entscheidung getroffen. Wir freuen uns riesig und hoffen sehr das alles klappt wie geplant 🙏🏼

IRA Offenburg ❤️

Am Sonntag ging es für uns nach Offenburg zur internationalen Rassehundeausstellung 🥳
Wir haben uns mit Kana getroffen und hatten einen tollen Tag zusammen 🫶🏼

Unsere beiden Shikoku Mädels haben auf der Rennstrecke ordentlich für Aufsehen gesorgt und jeweils zwei perfekte Läufe absolviert ✨

Danke an die Organisatoren für diese Möglichkeit unsere Hunde in Aktion zu zeigen. Es ist jedes Jahr eine große Freude 🤩

4 years - the second chapter of your life:
A brighter one, with a lot of challenges, a lot of "firsts", ups and downs, we turned fear into trust, grew together and made your life the one you always deserved.

It's a colorful life now, on a comfy couch, with long hikes, family vacations, many treats, endless cuddles and surrounded by Aki and Kaori.

We love you Kiku, so much 💖
