I first came across the breed 14 years ago while studying as a veterinarian in the Czech Republic, and got my first dog Liška after a year. Even after researching the breed and reading articles I wasn't prepared for what I had to deal with. Unfortunately Liška came from a bad background, she hadn't been socialized properly so she was terrified of everything except other dogs. It was a huge challenge for me, I was brought to my limits, i even considered finding her a more suited environment and rehoming her but I didn't give up on her. After excessive training and socializing she got much better with people and she could finally enjoy walks in the city as well. In 2011, I got my second girl Amelia Eden Severu. She showed me that with proper training and proper breeding selection you can have an individual that is confident, loving towards people and balanced. Then in 2013 Haruko Srdcerváč came into our lives and we were a proper pack, it was mid blowing how the dynamic inside the pack was changing, it was thrilling to experience. And finally in 2015 I got the baby of our pack, Bosorka Strážca Divočiny. Bringing Bosorka into the pack was proven to be very complicated since I came across something totally unexpected. The "A" female at the time was Amelia so every decision she would make Liška would follow. Amelia refused to accept Bosorka and so Liška was refusing as well. It was hard cause my dogs were living with me in the house, no cages, and Amelia and Liška would try to harm Bosorka so it was a really tough time. This period lasted two years until they would fully accept her. Now since Amelia got older Bosorka is the leader of our pack. Liška unfortunately is no longer with us since January 2023.
