Watching the horses simply be horses. Waking up to the sounds of Costa Rica. Spending your days outside, surrounded by green, with nowhere else you need to be.

Sometimes, it’s in those simple moments that you realize how much you needed to slow down.

At 17, Ginger took her first international trip on her own. 🌿

She had always spent her summers at camp back home in the US, but this year she was ready for something new.

Coming all the way to Costa Rica felt exciting, but also a little scary. She didn’t know exactly what to expect or how it would feel being so far away from home.

But once she arrived at Finca Soley, those worries quickly faded. She felt welcomed, accepted and part of the group from the very beginning.

One thing she especially enjoyed was the mix of people. During her stay, she shared the experience with guests of very different ages, from people in their teens and twenties to guests with many more years of life experience. And somehow, it just worked. Everyone spent time together, shared what they knew and learned from each other, regardless of age.

What started as a big step into the unknown turned into an experience filled with horses, new adventures and people she genuinely loved spending time with. 🤍

Sometimes going somewhere completely new is exactly what you need.
