🇨🇷 Happy Independence Day, Costa Rica! 🇨🇷

Today we celebrate this beautiful country we call home and all the people (and pups 🐾) who make it so special.

Here’s to community, kindness, and a whole lot of pura vida. ❤️🤍💙

¡Viva Costa Rica!

Meet Sam. 🥹🐾

This scruffy little girl is our newest intake, and yes… we’re already completely in love with her. 🤍

Sam came to us with an injured paw that needs orthopedic surgery. We don’t know everything she’s been through before finding her way to us, but we do know what comes next: getting this sweet girl healthy, comfortable and back on all four paws. 🐾

We’re looking for a few Paw Angels to help sponsor Sam’s surgery and medical care. Whether it’s $5, $10, $25 or more, every little bit goes directly toward getting her the care she needs.

If you’d like to be one of Sam’s Paw Angels, our donation link is in our BIO 🤍

And if you can’t donate, sharing Sam’s story helps more than you know.

Let’s get this little scruffy girl back on her feet. 🥹🐾

Plot twist… we don’t only rescue dogs. 🐶🐮🤎

Everybody meet Samson, our 9-month-old rescue Jersey cow!

Our friends at Costa Rica Cooking not only help support and sponsor our dog rescue, but their organic farm has also become a safe place for rescued farm animals—including this sweet boy. 🌿

Samson was rescued from a dairy farm, where life can look very different for male calves. Now he gets to spend his days roaming the farm, eating all the grass he wants, and being ridiculously loved. 🥹

Around here, if an animal needs a second chance, we have a hard time saying no. ❤️

Dogs, cows…and who knows what’s next. 😂

Welcome to the family, Samson! 🐮🇨🇷

🐾 Volunteers are the heartbeat of our rescue. ❤️

Every wagging tail, every clean kennel, every happy bath, every long walk, every full belly, and every dog who learns to trust again has a volunteer behind it.

Whether you’re spending an afternoon giving baths, tossing toys, walking dogs, or simply sitting with a pup who needs a little extra love, you’re making a difference that lasts far beyond your visit.

If you (or someone you know) is planning a trip to Costa Rica, we’d love to welcome you to our rescue for a meaningful experience.

Know someone heading to Costa Rica? Tag them below or send them our way! We can always use more helping hands… and the dogs definitely won’t complain about the extra belly rubs. 💚🐾

When your morning meeting has 8 opinions and everyone wants to sniff something different. 😂🐾 Pack walks = happy, socialized pups ready for their forever homes!

🚨 Donations Needed 🚨

CR Dog Rescue just welcomed TWO sweet new pups into the pack 🐶🤍

These babies need vaccines, medical care, and to be spayed before they’re ready for their forever homes. Rescue work takes a village, and we could really use your help right now.

If you’d like to sponsor one of these adorable babes — whether it’s toward vet care, food, treats, or supplies — every little bit makes a difference.

✨ Donation link in bio ✨

Thank you for helping us give these pups the safe, happy future they deserve 🐾
