Two Gentle Souls, Billy & Lucy, Searching for a Warm Forever Home
We are Billy and Lucy — two loyal, gentle dogs who have never truly seen the world outside our little home.
We thought our short stay away from home was just a temporary goodbye. But one day, our owner who was an old lady, fell ill and needed surgery. We waited patiently at home, believing she would return to us soon. Since she had difficulty moving around, we rarely went outside. Even though our world was small, being with her every day made us feel safe and happy.
A few days later, we were suddenly brought to Pet Garden. It was our first time leaving home in years. We were so scared, but we stayed quiet and obedient, waiting for our owner to come back and hold us again.
But fate was cruel. She never returned. Due to her sickness, she left us forever. We had never been apart from her, and now we are alone. Our owner’s family doesn’t live in Macau, so no one can take us in.
If we cannot find a new family soon, we may be sent to the Macau dog shelter. We are terrified — without our owner, that shelter could be the end of our journey.
Billy is 6 years old, Lucy is 5. Both of us are neutered. Since our owner had difficulty in walking, we never had proper training or socialization. That made us shy, sensitive, and slow to warm up. But thanks to the kind people at Pet Garden, we are slowly opening our hearts.
We are not aggressive, not noisy, not demanding. We are gentle, obedient, and friendly with other dogs. We never fight for attention. It’s easy to take care of us. We are not picky with our food, but we are still learning where to go potty, but with your patience, we promise to try our best.
We are innocent souls who have never done anything wrong. We don’t ask for riches or luxury — only a forever home where we will never be abandoned, where someone will patiently guide us and love us.
Will you give us a warm new home? Will you be our one and only beloved family for the rest of our lives?
We are waiting sincerely for someone kind enough to accept our slow to warm up, but to love us gently, step by step. Please come and meet us, spend time with us, and take us home.
