The 28th edition of Pet Fair Asia was successfully held in Shanghai from 19 to 23 August, reaffirming its position as a leading platform for the global pet industry and a place where the future of the industry takes shape.

The show broke new records, spanning 320,000 sqm with more than 2,600 exhibitors, 20% of which were companies/ brands from 30+ different countries. The show attracted 130,000+ professional visitors, with international visitation growing by 23% compared to last year. International visitors came from 102 countries, the highest number to date, underscoring the event’s growing international reach and influence on the global scene.

will return to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 18–22 August 2027. Ahead of it, the will bring the industry together at Pet Fair South East Asia, (Guangzhou) and .

In April 2027, the new addition - Pet Fair Asia Boutique - will also debut in Shanghai at the West Bund - a landmark destination in the heart of the city - spotlighting high-quality niche and cross-industry brands of premium pet products and human-pet living solutions.

The 15th edition of the International Pet Industry Summit – Asian CEO Summit kicked off in Shanghai today, traditionally held the day before the opening of Pet Fair Asia.

Themed “Building a Caring, Vibrant and Sustainable Human-Pet Ecosystem,” this year’s summit was another great success, welcoming around 700 delegates - and bringing together 25 inspiring speakers and panelists from across the global pet industry.

The discussions explored some of the most pressing topics shaping the industry today, including AI, sustainability, branding, giants vs. rising stars, evolving retail models, and global expansion.

A big thank you to all our speakers, panelists, partners and delegates for making this 15th edition such a memorable one. The energy, insights and conversations in the room truly reflected the momentum and dynamism of the global pet industry.
