💙🐾 MEET KURI — 4 YEARS OLD & STILL WAITING… 🐾💙

How can such a beautiful soul keep being overlooked? 🥺💔

Kuri is a 4-year-old, medium-sized boy with the sweetest, calmest and most loving personality. 🐶❤️ He adores children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is good with cats, and loves people of all ages. 👧🐕🐈‍⬛👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

But Kuri’s life didn’t start with love. 💔 He was rescued from the streets after being brutally attacked by a group of teenagers. He needed surgery, but this incredible boy recovered and, despite everything humans did to him, he never stopped trusting and loving people. 🥺❤️‍🩹

Today, Kuri is a gentle, affectionate and wonderful companion who asks for only one thing:

🏡 A FAMILY OF HIS OWN.

We have been trying for years to find Kuri his forever home. Please don’t let him keep waiting. 🙏🐾

❤️🐾 YOU DID IT! THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH! 🐾❤️

What started as an emergency request to raise $250 became something far bigger because of YOU. We raised more than double our goal! 🙏

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to send 6 large kennels and a carrion luggage to Chile 🇨🇱 packed with much-needed supplies: warm dog jackets for the cold Chilean winter, p*e pads, diapers, treats, vitamins, toys, food, and supplies for both dogs and cats. 🐶🐱❤️

And the help will go even further. Some of the food and treats will reach not only the animals in our care, but also the street dogs and cats we regularly feed. For some of them, this will be a very special little treat. 🥹❤️

Here are a few photos of everything leaving with Isabel, our Director in Chile 🇨🇱 and arriving into the loving hands of Nidia, who cares for our precious puppies.

🚨 EMERGENCY FUNDRAISING MARATHON — WE NEED $250 TONIGHT! 🚨

Dear community, we desperately need your help. 🙏🐾

After bringing Mandarina 🐾🩷 and Aura 🐾🩷 safely to Canada 🇨🇦 this Saturday, Isabel, Director of our Chilean partner organization, is flying back to Chile 🇨🇱 tomorrow.

The Humane Society of Victoria has generously donated much-needed large kennels for our rescued dogs in Chile. ❤️🇨🇱🐶

Because these kennels are OVERSIZED BAGGAGE, the airline charges a significant extra fee to transport them. ✈️📦

Zira is a stunning Shar Pei mix who was born in the shelter and has never experienced the warmth of a family home or the one-on-one love she truly deserves. Despite this, her heart is overflowing with affection and joy, just waiting to be shared with the right family.

She is a beautiful medium-sized girl, around 20 kg, with medium energy. Zira is wonderfully social—great with other dogs, gentle with cats, and she absolutely adores children. She is smart, playful, affectionate, and has such a sweet and loving soul.

Zira loves to be petted and enjoys playing, running under the sun, and spending time with her doggy friends—which is one of her favorite things in the world.

Her dad Hans and her sister Diva have already been adopted and are now living their new lives here in Canada. ❤️ Zira is the only one left behind, still waiting in Chile 🇨🇱for someone to choose her.

Zira is pure happiness wrapped in fur. She is ready to bring love, laughter, and sunshine to a family who will cherish her and finally show her what having a real home feel like.

‼️URGENT!‼️ Sweet Santiago needs a foster by Aug 15th! Even if just temporary. Through no fault of his own, Santi’s foster-adopt family fell through due to a change in family circumstance. Santi is amazingly adoptable, he is super easy going and great with all people, kids and dogs! He is not leash reactive, is smart and very loving. He’ll be a lovely companion for pretty much anyone who doesn’t have cats at home. Santi is 7 years old and has a clean bill of health from a recent vet visit and teeth cleaning.

Please spread the word to help us find a foster family by the weekend, this love bug needs a miracle! 💪✨💝 He can be delivered anywhere south of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, anywhere in Metro Vancouver or on the Gulf Islands! Interested folks outside of these area please still apply and we can see if we can make further locations happen.
