Harry is looking for his person... 🔍👀

SWEEEEEETEST-boy-ever Harry is 2.5 years old, and his foster mum Rita has told us all about exactly what makes this soft, sensitive boy smile...

His favourite place is easy... It’s wherever his person is!

Working on your laptop? He’ll curl up and chill beside you 😴
Watching Netflix? He’s right there too 🍿
Having a quiet afternoon? Great! So is he! 🥹

Harry is the kind of dog who really tunes in to his person 💞

He doesn’t ask for much. He can tell when you’re tired and is perfectly happy just existing beside you. He loves being part of whatever you’re doing, and is most content simply spending time together.

But don’t get him wrong... he can be an adventure boy too!

He loves walks, exploring and playing, and is even getting close to becoming a fully licensed scooter-passenger! 🛵 A 10–15 minute trip is his sweet spot though, because hectic Bali traffic and noise can make him a bit nervous.

Because he's a sensitive soul, he’ll do best in a peaceful house away from the hustle and bustle, with a bit of space to relax and explore.

Harry doesn't need an exciting life. He’s just looking for someone who wants a loyal companion to share the everyday stuff with.

THE STORY OF MR. TED 🐶🩷

We had spotted Ted weaving through traffic, looking lost and confused, and clearly not coping with street life.

But when we got up close, we realised he was in even worse shape than we'd first thought. His skin was raw and bleeding in places, with huge chunks of fur missing, save for the one ridiculous little pompom remaining at the end of his tail 🥹

Despite how uncomfortable and miserable he must have been, this gorgeous boy immediately responded to kindness. The second he realised we were there to help, he melted. All he wanted was some gentle attention and a little bit of love.

The story we were told by some local shop owners was that Mr. Ted had been dumped there about five days earlier. We shared his story with all of you, and thankfully, it didn't take long for someone to step up.

A wonderful lady and absolute legend, Pauline, offered to foster Ted in exactly the shabby, scabby shape he was in.

After a vet check and a diagnosis of advanced (but totally fixable) mange and fungal infections, Mr. Ted was started on treatment.

And then he went home with Pauline... and it didn't take long for this gorgeous, scruffy little guy to completely win her over!

His foster home became his forever home, and Mr. Ted went from weaving through traffic with nowhere to go...
..to living a leisurely countryside life he probably never imagined in his wildest dreams 🩷

Rabies is a serious threat that has been present in Bali for almost 20 years, but the virus can’t be effectively managed without stability in the dog population.

⚠️ So we need to stop treating village dogs as disposable!

The key is keeping them healthy, vaccinated and alive, while proactively sterilising as many as possible to reduce the number of unwanted, uncared-for animals being born.

It's pretty simple: Protect the dogs already here. Prevent more from entering the cycle.
