🐾 The Adventures of Blender – Chapter 4 🐾

“Less Hissing, More Kissing… Well, Not Quite Yet!” 😹
Hello again, everyone! It’s me, Blender! 🐈‍⬛💙

I’ve got some BIG news! I’ve decided that maybe, just maybe, humans aren’t quite as scary as I first thought!
My hissing has become a lot less frequent. Don’t get too excited though, I still like to throw in the occasional hiss, just to remind everyone who’s boss! 😼

I’ve also discovered something rather wonderful… TREATS! Apparently, if I come out of my hiding spot, my foster mom gives me delicious little snacks. I’m beginning to think this might be a pretty good arrangement!

And guess what? I’ve even started PLAYING with my foster mom! Yes, you heard that right! I’m chasing toys, having fun, and sometimes forgetting that I’m supposed to be the shy one!
Now, before anyone gets carried away, let’s get one thing straight. Cuddles are still NOT on the menu! 🚫🤗
I have a reputation to maintain, after all!

My foster mom keeps telling me how brave I’m becoming. I pretend not to listen, but between you and me, I think I quite like hearing it. 💙
I’m learning that hands can bring treats, toys can be shared, and humans might actually be rather nice.
I’m not quite ready for snuggles, but I’m taking little steps every day.
Less hiss, more play… and maybe one day, I’ll even stay! 🐾❤️

Until next time,
Love, cautious purrs, and a tiny little hiss,

Blender 🐾💙

❤️ Meet Tim Purrton— A Little Fighter! ❤️

On October 17th, we received a call about a cat found in someone’s front yard with what appeared to be a broken jaw. The finder reached out to us for help, and we arranged for him to be taken to Companion Animal Hospital, where we would make sure he got the care he needed.

Dr. Long examined him and took X-rays, discovering that this poor boy had a split palate. We don’t know what caused it, but it was definitely the result of trauma. Dr. Long surgically repaired it, and we are happy to report that Tim Purrton is doing quite well and is on the mend! ❤️

He has now gone to a foster home where he can receive lots of TLC while he heals. He will return in a week for a recheck to see how everything is progressing.

And despite everything this sweet boy has been through, he is just the sweetest cat, purring away and soaking up the love. 🐱💕

A huge thank-you to Dr. Long and the team at Companion Animal Hospital for giving Tim Purrton the care he needed.

Every life matters, and Tim Purrton’s story is a reminder of why rescue matters. ❤️🐾

Keep healing, sweet boy! We’re all rooting for you! 🐾❤️

🐾❤️ S'MORE IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER FAMILY! ❤️🐾

How has this beautiful girl not stolen someone's heart yet?! 🥹

Meet S'more, our gorgeous 1.5-year-old German Shepherd cross who has enough love, energy, and personality to fill an entire house! 🐕💕

Just like her name suggests, once you meet this sweetheart, you're going to want S'more!

🌟 A Big Personality with an Even Bigger Heart!

S'more is the definition of HAPPY! She's a fun-loving, energetic girl who absolutely adores people. She's always ready for an adventure, a good run, or some attention from her favorite humans.

She's a go-go-go kind of girl who approaches everything in life with enthusiasm! Whether it's playtime, exploring, or simply being around her people, S'more is just happy to be included.

🏡 What Does S'more Need?

Her ideal home would have a fenced yard or acreage, with an active family who can keep up with her playful personality and give her the love and attention she deserves.

🐾 A Little More About S'more:

🐕 Dogs: Does well with other dogs following proper introductions.

🐈 Cats: Unknown at this time.

👧 Kids: Absolutely loves them! However, she's a bouncy, enthusiastic girl who may accidentally knock smaller children over. Older kids may be a better fit!

💉 Vetting: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations until April 2027.

❤️ One Little Thing Worth Mentioning...

S'more broke her front leg this past summer. Thankfully, she's been doing well, and her leg has continued to improve while healing naturally under veterinary guidance. We're hopeful she won't require any further intervention, but Paws & Claws will continue to assist with her leg-related medical needs if necessary.

💕 S'more has so much love to give. Now she just needs someone to give it to!

This girl doesn't need anything fancy. Just a family who will love her, embrace her big personality, and give her the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful life she deserves.

Could you be the person S'more has been waiting for? 🥹❤️
