Update: Pepper made it home!

Please keep an eye out for Pepper! She was last seen around the Kam Lake and Hordal area approximately 4 hours ago. She is weary of men she doesn’t know. She’s super sweet but cautious of strangers. If you see her, please contact 867-446-1783.

We are happy to announce that our dental x-ray is up and running. Dental x-rays will allow us to see below the gum line and will help us detect cracked teeth, periodontal pockets and other dental problems before they start to cause problems for our pets. A full mouth series of dental x-rays will be mandatory with all of our dental procedures to ensure your pets get the best care.

The Colour Run is on today. Depending on where you are coming from you may need to take an alternate route to the clinic. Consider leaving early to ensure that you can make it to your appointment on time.

The Yellowknife Colour Run is taking place tomorrow, August 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Participants will travel along sidewalks and multi-use trails, beginning at the Multiplex, continuing to Kam Lake Road, and returning via Curry Drive and Coronation Drive.

For public safety, Kam Lake Road between Woolgar Avenue and Finlayson Drive will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Motorists can expect increased pedestrian activity along the route. Please slow down and drive with extra caution, especially at intersections and crosswalks, watch for participants crossing roadways and allow extra travel time if you're driving in the area.

Whether you are participating in the Colour Run or travelling through the area, please help us keep everyone safe and make this a fun event for the community. Thank you for your cooperation, and enjoy the Colour Run!
