The Queen, Maple, had her owns thoughts about the whole weekend. I had my sights set on a veteran award for her and she did win her veteran class, but somewhere in the excitement she decided to prove that she feels and acts like she's in her prime. She goes Select Bitch 🤩🤩in the Big Show with an entry of 51 Goldens. She went best veteran in sweeps. She showed with the Juniors and she never slowed down one minute. She has made a great case to come out and finish her grand if this didn't do it maybe we will go for a Best Veteran in Show. She had the disadvantage of me handling her, but boy she does love to put on a show.

It was a successful weekend. Gabe traveled with me for help. I am also thankful for the help from Rick, Darren, Kim, Kaitlin, Joslyn, and Reegan.

Wh***ey received a judges award of Merit in a very strong line up of bi***es. Joslyn Mackay piloted her in the Specialty. I was extremely happy with JAM for these 2.

Rosie made it through the cut to the final line up in breed ring. Handled by junior handler Reegan. I feel they were close to a Jam. Rosie is just 14 months competing in a stacked lineup of high quality bi***es. Rosie was a little envious of the Jam ribbons so she chewed Wh***ey's. 🤪

Scarlet won a competitive 6 to 9 sweeps class. She shows a lot promise. I need to show her on a less busy weekend so I have more time to work with her. Need to buy a flat iron for her wavy coat. 😁

Foxylane's Marlyn Monroe's first time in rally at MGRC scores 95 out of 100.
Monroe is owned by the Mackay family. She is trained and adored by junior handler Joslyn Mackay.
I am sure she will achieve multiple titles. Extremely proud of this team.

Arrived home late last night from the Maritime Golden Retriever Specialty show. It's one of our favourite shows to attend. As everything soaks into my brain I am going to highlight some of my proudest moments. I am lacking in the picture department, I really need to do more pics.

My proudest moment was one no one else would see. All the junior handlers in MGRC junior handling use Goldens. I looked into the ring while I watched and realized close to half the entry had a golden I had bred or selected for my breeding program. This means we are on the right track, something is working. Very happy quiet realization.

I have a lot more to say, may do it dog by dog. Thanks for everyone's patience, I will answer all the messages today.
