Last but definitely not least on the Simply Raw Manitoba, Board of Directors...

Meet Rip ➡ Junior Board Member & Chief Security Pawfficer 🐶🧡

As the newest member of the board, Rip may still be a puppy, but he’s already making himself right at home.

His first order of business after joining the team? Taking his kibble straight to the train station

His responsibilities include:

🐾 Learning new skills suspiciously fast
🐾 Greeting every person and animal like they’re his new best friend
🐾 Conducting extremely close-up inspections of fellow board members
🐾 Completely ignoring the concept of personal space
🐾 Following Ruka around despite the occasional strongly worded growl
🐾 Protecting the house like it’s officially his job

This blue heeler is incredibly smart, eager to learn and VERY excited to meet everyone. He has absolutely no hesitation about walking straight up to the other pets and putting his face approximately half an inch from theirs. Somehow, they mostly just accept it.

Ruka is still deciding whether the new hire was approved by upper management, but she’s slowly coming around.

His leadership style? Tough, fearless and fiercely loyal.

He’s already made it clear, this house is under his watch.

Next up on the Simply Raw Manitoba, Board of Directors...

Meet Sox ➡ Director of Purrsonnel & Chief Relationship Pawfficer 🐱🧡

At just 1 year old, Sox may be one of the youngest members of the board, but she has already proven herself to be extremely persistent, ridiculously affectionate and very committed to team building.

Her responsibilities include:

🐾 Following fellow board members around until they agree to be friends
🐾 Providing unlimited cuddles and affection
🐾 Reporting immediately for all meal-related activities
🐾 Inspecting napkins, tablecloths and clothing for missed food particles
🐾 Ensuring management maintains an extremely strict post-meal cleanup policy

Huxley wasn’t exactly thrilled about his new coworker, but Sox refused to take the hint. She kept following him around until eventually she won him over. Now they’re regular cuddle buddies 😂🧡

Her leadership style? Sweet, persistent and completely unhinged around food.

Around here, no crumb gets left behind. Mostly because if we leave it behind, Sox will eat whatever it happens to be attached to. Napkin? Fair game. Tablecloth? Absolutely. Sock with a suspicious food smell? Apparently dinner.

Needless to say, we run a very tight cleanup ship!

Next up on the Simply Raw Manitoba, Board of Directors...

Meet Bella, better known around here as Boo Boo ➡ Senior Board Purrvisor & Chief Wellness Pawfficer 🐱🧡

As the oldest member of the board, Boo Boo brings something the rest of the executive team could probably use a little more of: calm.

Her responsibilities include:

🐾 Maintaining a private executive office in Mom’s closet
🐾 Appearing promptly for all scheduled meal services
🐾 Conducting occasional daytime inspections to see what everyone is up to
🐾 Providing lap-based support during TV time
🐾 Maintaining an aggressive bedtime cuddle policy
🐾 Sleeping directly on Mom’s head whenever possible

Boo Boo is incredibly affectionate but she’s also a strong believer in work-life balance, with an emphasis on the life part. Most of her day is spent peacefully tucked away in her closet, emerging only when she decides her presence is required.

Her leadership style? Quiet, affectionate and fiercely independent.

She doesn’t micromanage. She doesn’t attend unnecessary meetings. She simply appears for dinner, accepts cuddles on her own terms then retires back to her private quarters.

Honestly, she may be the only member of the board who has figured out how this whole thing is supposed to work.

Next up on the Simply Raw Manitoba Board…

Meet Huxley ➡ Vice Chair & Chief Operating Pawfficer (COO) 🐱🧡

At 4 years old, Huxley brings a unique management style to the executive team: equal parts cuddly, grumpy and completely unhinged when food is involved.

His responsibilities include:

🐾 Enforcing an extremely strict feeding schedule
🐾 Attempting hostile takeovers of the food dish before it reaches the floor
🐾 Completing all meals in approximately 10 seconds
🐾 Providing cuddles and affection until further notice
🐾 Ending said affection without warning by attempting to eat your hand
🐾 Conducting nightly inspections of any exposed toes

Huxley is generally a very lovable, cuddly member of the team, right up until someone is holding his dinner. At that point, all corporate policies and basic manners are suspended.

His leadership style? Affectionate, unpredictable and aggressively food-motivated.

He believes patience is a weakness and if the food bowl isn't coming to him fast enough, he will simply come to the food bowl.

Another highly qualified board member of Simply Raw Manitoba🧡🐾

We have some new faces around here lately, so we figured it was time to Meet the Board, the very important team running things behind the scenes at Simply Raw Manitoba 🐾

First up, meet Ruka ➡ Chairdog of the Board & Chief Executive Pawfficer (CEO) 🐶🧡

As the highest-ranking member of the Simply Raw Manitoba executive team, Ruka’s responsibilities include:

🐾 Assisting with delivery day duties
🐾 Supervising all meal preparation
🐾 Conducting extensive taste-testing
🐾 Maintaining company morale through mandatory frisbee breaks
🐾 Monitoring all incoming Simply Raw inventory
🐾 Reminding management when dinner is approximately 3 minutes late

Ruka is also firmly under the impression that Simply Raw exists entirely for her benefit and that the rest of us are simply here to keep the operation running. Honestly, we haven’t had the heart to correct her.

Her leadership style? Firm, fluffy and extremely food-motivated.

Business decisions? Debatable. Dinner decisions? She’s the expert.

And really, that’s the qualification that matters around here 🧡
