Barks n Purrs construction update

We want to share a real update on the Barks n Purrs buildout.

Construction is not going to plan. We need to vacate the mall by December 31 and were aiming to open the first week of January 2026. Due to permit delays and the holiday season, we’ve now been told the timeline looks closer to late January, which realistically puts opening into early February.

Right now, we’re working through temporary options for our fixtures and inventory until the new space is ready. It’s not ideal, and it’s added stress we didn’t expect.

There is still a chance things move faster. If inspections and permits clear sooner, we could get in earlier. We’re pushing for that every day.

In the meantime, we’re planning ways to stay available to you, including:

Online orders

Local delivery

Possible curbside pickup

This process has been frustrating and stressful, and we want to be upfront about that. We also want to say thank you. The support, messages, and patience mean a lot to us, and they’re the reason we keep pushing forward.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have firm dates.
