Spirit of Hope Rescue

Spirit of Hope Rescue We are a volunteer run, foster based, non profit dog rescue that runs a low cost vaccination, spay/neuter, and food program for Indigenous communities.

SOHR was started in January of 2012 by Director Cathie Mieyette as a promise to herself that if she was to survive what was then a life saving stem cell transplant, she would start a rescue to assist First Nations communities with the overpopulation of dogs. Cathie is a four time cancer survivor. Since 2012, Cathie and her team at SOHR has rescued more than 4000 dogs.

We also have a BBQ for a $5.00 Donation drop by and have lunch with us!

We are looking for items to be donated for us to use to sell! You can drop off between 8:30-9:30 am. So we have time to set items up on the tables!
