Hey Everyone!

We have been collecting donations for our garage sale on June 21 2026. ( we are still collecting so if you have anything let us know !!!). Please mark your calendars!!

Come treat whomever is filling the father role in your life to a meal!!!! We will have hotdogs and drinks available. As they dine on the meal they can look around and maybe find something they always wanted as we will have so many things to search through. We may have your new kitty or puppy soul match??? We will have brand new items ( tupperware, thirty-one ), Tools, Exercise equipment, Clothes, Yard equipment, and more!!

Since so many people have donated already, who knows what else we will have. Come eat, look around, help socialize our adoptable pets. It will be the perfect way to celebrate the father figure in your life!!!!

While our director is away on a k9 saving mission in Ontario, rescue doesn't stop here.

We are currently helping with an overpopulation on a farm outside of the city. 4 cats and 4 kittens have been trapped so far, with more to come..
This takes a lot of time, a lot of gas money, wear & tear on vehicles, money for spay & neuter and most will be released back outdoors as they may not be able to find happiness with humans.

Once again, Cole’s Critters has teamed up with other rescues to transport animals in need of help, to out of province rescues!

We’ve rented a van, packed it with kennels, fur babies, supplies and are hitting the road!

All of this costs a lot of money. Rental fees, fuel, food and accommodations for the volunteers making the lomg drive! It all adds up quick and we cannot do it without your help! Donations of $2.00, $5.00 or $10.00 all add up!!

Today was nothing short of exhausting.

Early this morning, our team picked up a rental vehicle and drove 3.5 hours north to help 6 female puppies living in unsafe conditions. Those puppies were planned intakes… but rescue rarely goes according to plan.

While in the community, we were contacted about another dog needing help. We met the sweetest big guy whose family simply wanted him safe — and there was no way we could leave him behind.

Then came another call about a mom cat and her 3 kittens needing help. Thankfully we always bring extra kennels, because situations like this happen constantly. We accepted them into our care as well.

But the day still wasn’t over.

On our drive back to Winnipeg, one of the kittens already in our care suffered a critical adverse reaction to medication. We immediately rushed him and his siblings to emergency. Right now, Ginger is admitted overnight fighting to pull through while his siblings are stable back with their mom.

Today alone we accepted:
• 6 puppies
• 1 large dog
• 1 mom cat
• 3 kittens

That’s 11 animals in a single day.

Between the rental vehicle, fuel, and Ginger’s emergency vet care, today alone cost approximately $1,160.

We desperately need donations to help us continue saying yes to animals in need and to cover Ginger’s emergency hospitalization.
